Hello,

My wife and I are considering moving to back Turkey once she receives US citizenship. I thought I heard somewhere that if you work for a US company, and they have you stationed outside the US and my wife is with me, that still counts towards the 3 year residency requirement for US citizenship...any thoughts as to whether or not that is a true statement?

From what Ive seen, thats true. Working for an American company, not a foreign company abroad.

In some cases yes. You do have to fill out a specific form however, but I can't recall what it is called at the time but it allows you re-entry in the US and it makes sure you don't abandon the green card. Now I'm not sure all US company jobs will allow you to maintain the residency, but it definatly will let you come back into the US. I think Government jobs or Military jobs will allow you to maintain continuous residency, but not 100% about other types of jobs...
