Hello,

I will be filing for Citizenship next September 2008 based on my 3 years of
continuous permanent residence and as I am still happily married with my wife;

I know that The waiting time for the N400 can go up from 12 to 18 months;

Can anyone tell me what happens if after I file, things in my life changes?
example what if I have need to move or me and my wife will separate?

will my application be affected by this changes and how much?

I am new to this forum, thank you for your time and responses,

It depends on who interviews you. If for some reason you separate or divorce your wife before the interview, you will have to prove that your reasons for being married to a US citizen where legitimate. I have a friend who did this but his citizenship was denied because the interviewer didn't believe him. He now has to wait another two years to file for citizenship on his own.

Even with your conditional or ten year green card, have ten days to tell the USCIS where you are moving to, see you can do it online now.

I don't even want to think about a divorce, made darn sure this time around and so did my wife.

Well, life changes all the time. If you apply as you are now and things change, I suppose you would have to inform someone at interview or before approval.
