On May 27 we recieved our NOA2 and the excitement just keeps getting higher and higher.
Sweetie has left her easily located address in Pampanga to her mothers place at a rather obscure address but that won't matter if what I read is correct. I am under the impression that sweetie can pick up the letter at the embassy. Sweetie will call the USEM on Friday to inform them of her address change and to request when she can pick up letter, IF this is possible.
I told sweetie after she has letter in hand she can start making appointment times and hit the banks to pay fees. We will be using a WORD document that someone posted as a guide. I wish I could find the link to give that poster proper credit and to help others but I cannot find that posting again. Sorry.

Friday June 6 I recieved the letter informing me that within a week the petition will be forwarded to the USEM.
I told Sweetie this is a good time to call USEM (2-301-2000 ext 5184, Correct?) to inform them of the recent change of address and to request pick up of letter, if any.
Question, should we schedule the interview first and then the medical or medical first, then interview?
Also I understand an Appointment Letter needs to be taken to the Medical Exam. Is this Med Exam appointment letter or interview letter? Also can she pick this letter up at St. Lukes?
Snail mail and delivery seem to be out of the question as she REALLY lives "out there".
Thanks in advance

When the approved petition already at the USEM, you can call USEM and set an interview appointment for your fiancee. After that confirmation email will be sent to your fiancee and she will need to print it and bring it on her medical. (medical first before interview)

Thank you very much Shape.
I thought your writing was excellent on your Medical and Interviews experiences so much that I copied both and sent them to my Sweetie. She likes to read them and it gives her a good idea of what to expect.
Thank You very much y muchos gracias

I called USEM Tuesday to inform them of sweeties address change and I was told they do not take that information over the phone. I was told to fax the information to them and call back on Friday. I already faxed it earlier this week and will call them back in just a few hours.
For those with a similar situation I post the FAX number for USEM here 011-63-2-301-2591 and put to the Attention of Operations Unit (as instructed).

Ok, twice this has been mentioned so now I am curious.
How can Sweetie get her documents verified BEFORE the interview?
Does she take her documents straight to DELBROS or to the NSO?
Specifically what documents are to be taken to DELBROS/NSO?
How long will it take and how much of a time save will it be?
Thanks

Only those 2 documents need verifying? No others?

Thursday I called USEM to confirm reciept of Sweetie's change of address and they did and already made note of it and I was told that our actual package arrived, GREAT.
So I get off the line and call the 1-888 number and buy a pin and used my first of 3 trys. I was told the same as above BUT that things were not yet in order to schedule an interview and to call back in 2 weeks.
WTF? I used my one PIN usage for that? I should get some sort of credit for a non-productive use of the PIN, wouldn't you think? Well my plan now is to call USEM everyday starting Monday to ask if it is ok to schedule the interview so I don't waste another try.
I inspite of it all I have a positive attitude and the smell of my Sweetie is getting stronger in my mind every day. I miss her dearly.

And the wheels keep on rolling.
Sweety paid the DELBROS fee the week of June 15 and we hit a couple bumps on the formatting of the text message but eventually it went through and she got the cofirmation reply. We are still a little unclear on the paper trail of this Document Verification process but we leave that to the powers to be.
Then I called USEM to check the status of our papers and it seems they were sitting on someones desk the whole time so Lourainne got them to where they should be and on Friday June 27 I called and scheduled the interview. We have a date of mid-July so we only have a couple of weeks to go so Monday Sweetie is going to SLMCEC for her Medical Exam. We are both just giddy and are making guesses for when she can travel to USA.
We are looking at Hawaiian Airlines as they seem to currently have the best rates out there. The plan is for Sweetie to arrive in Honolulu from Manila and POE there and ultimately arrive in Las Vegas where we will find a nice chapel (Not a drive thru please) and begin our lives together.
