I had to submit an I-90 to get my 10-yr card corrected (USCIS error).

Package was delivered at CSC on May 5. No NOA so far. Could anyone else who had to send in an I-90 to CSC recently please share their timelines?

Not much use calling without a NOA, I guess. I dread having to talk to these people again. blink.gif

I can't be of any help, but heaven help you if their posted processing time of August 2006 is anywhere near accurate. That's almost two years! And all for their mistake. I guess the bright side is that at least you don't have to pay for their f-up . . . .

I paid for the form when it was still requiring a fee. I have never heard anything back. Fortunately, I never sent the actual card in. All that was 3 years ago...

You're right - the CSC processing time is utter lunacy! So bummed that the correction I had them make at fingerprints did not get in to the right system. Fortunately, I have a stamp to travel on this summer. Will most likely need to get another stamp next year.

I will also submit papers to retain my current citizenship over the summer, and am half-heartedly contemplating sending in the N-400 depending on how soon I get a response from my home country, and if I have the $$ to spare to pay both countries mad.gif

Thanks for responding. The instructions say to return the "original" card with the I-90, and so sent it back. Did you apply for citizenship since then, or still using the one with the mitake?

always used the one with the mistake. no one ever noticed and I travelled about 7 times with it (Europe and back). My gender was indicated incorrectly... I am sorry you sent the original in but unless you travel much the stamp should be fine (even if but you need more time for secondary inspections). Hopefully it will be done soon. What part had the error (name?)??

Wow! Maybe I should have kept mine!! Family here have jokingly said it might have been easier to change the name legally to match the card, than waiting for USCIS (took them 14 months to process the I-751).

Yes, my last name was misspelt. Had it corrected at fingerprints - did not mean a thing! I have not traveled last year, but expect to travel overseas a few times in the coming two years. I'll most probably need to get another stamp in March '09. That's why I really would like the card corrected.
