Has anyone successfully received an I-551 stamp in Boston office WITH a valid NOA extension letter. I'm considering this because of aggressive airport personnel in my home country on my return flight. I am not worried about POE in the US. Thanks.
I have the exact same concern! An acquaintance was denied boarding on a US-bound airplane in Bucharest, simply because airport personnel had never seen an Advance Parole document and did not believe it was legit.

People have done this (Mr.BigDog's wife comes to mind, because they weren't sure various officials in Ethiopia would recognize the extension letter), I'm not sure if Boston will do it, but can't hurt to try.
I tried twice at the boston office. but they didnt give me the stamp. i was only going to canada so its worth giving it a shot in your case. i was told they would only give the stamp if i have lost the extention letter.

Look again... are you really really sure you have not misplaced your extension letter?
