LOL
Our Montreal embassy page here on VJ says the envelope you must bring to the interview is 314mm x 394mm big...no one sells envelopes in mm...they sell them in cm so I'm going to change the page once I find out cause that's just stupid.

ALSO! It says "prepaid".... pre-paid for how much? We don't know what the weight is going to be inside the package.

For those of you who have had your interview...how big was the envelope in cm's and how much in postage did you buy???

Thanks guys! star_smile.gif

No padding, it's the cardboard one, like one you would see Fedex or Purolator use.

Yes, I gave those dimensions to my Husband for the P.O. and of course when he got there - no such thing. Can't remember which one he did buy. It's probably the large size measuring 30.5cm x 39.4cm (National).

Sweet!
It's the fourth one down on this page here

30.5cm x 39.4cm.

I'm going to update the embassy page
Ontarkie
When I went to find mine the girl at the post office didnt want to give me the big one, that was clearly mark in mm in its holder. I look at it and showed her the size of it. They are mark in mm you just have to look before you leave if they dont have a clue what size it is. The size in mm is located on the back of the envolope right beside the part you fill in your addy and stuff.

Hi laura...I bought my envelope from Canada Post a few days ago...and its hugeeeeeeeeee.....it is 314mm x 394mm...and the size is on the envelope....I had to pay for national postage as I live in Newfoundland. I paid like $20 something dollars for it...that includes the signature feature that they require also..I believe the postage rate is based on where you live...I told canada post it had to travel from montreal to me here in newfieland...and the computer added the rate for her....take care....
