Checked my bank account and my check cleared for the I-130's for my husband/kids. I should be getting a case number soon ! I'm so excited !

This made me laugh. Only the people going through this process would find that exciting. Everyone else would be saying "So?" Congratulations!

Isn't that the truth ???!!! LOL I'm just thrilled though to know our packet actually fell into the hands of someone and isn't sitting someplace in a pile....
Wondering how long until I can check the website for my case status ? I can see my number on the back of the check---
Also- do the first three letters indicate anything ? Mine are WAC .... hmmmm the obsessing begins..... ROFLMAO

I think I-130 visas all begin with WAC--are you at the California CS?

WAC means Western Adjudication Center. In other words, California. Vermont is EAC... Eastern Adjudication Center. More details:

LIN = Lincoln, Nebraska or NSC
EAC = St. Albans, Vermont or VSC
SRC= Dallas, Texas or TSC
WAC= Laguna Niguel, California or CSC

So let's say your case # is WAC 99 001 50001

• WAC represents California
• The 99 represents the fiscal year (October 1, through September 30) in which the case was received.
• The 001 represents the computer workday in the fiscal year on which the fee was taken. They are calculated by counting the number of working days from October 1. Saturdays and Sundays and national holidays are not included.
• The 50001 represents the particular case number

I would check the case status as soon as I had the number.

What is the web site you go to check your case number. It has been so long I forget. Just sent in to remove conditions and would like to go back online to check it.
