Today, I finally had chance to talk several lawyers all over the nation. The fee they charge all different, from $750 to $2000 ( I even had one who needs to charge 4000).....Is it normal? I am in divorce case. Is there anyway I can evaluate lawyer's performance? I need to find a good one in order to do my case well.

Anyone knows good and reliable lawyer there?
Thank you

Try looking at http://www.aila.org if you feel you need an immigration attorney.

Shusterman (www.shusterman.com) is one of the best known lawyers in the business. But because he's a high profile immigration lawyer, his (or his firm's) prices might be steep though.

We paid $1.5K plus all CIS fees. If we are called for an intervew, it is included. Since your case is with waiver, 2K might be reasonable. Application is easy, but if you are called for an intervew and decide to hire a lawyer at that stage, they might charge you more or by hour (which is $250/hour for my attorney).

Hi!

You can try lawyers from www.arctec.com.

They did a good job for me and my honey.

I used Mr Eugene Flynn from Dallas to file the AOS as we didnt have a clue what to do at that time. For the I-751 I think he charges around $1500. Maybe less but hes very good.
