You are filing at California?

Expect at least a 8 to 10 month wait from filing till Visa in hand.
It's a long and hard process but so worth it in the end.

You may be lucky and get it sooner, like 6 to 7 months but things have seemed to slow down again so patience is key.

You need to be patient in this process. There is really no way of speeding it up. There are people who get it sooner and those who get it later, but, everyone's situation is different.

Like Laura said, this is a long, stressful process. Be ready to do your share of waiting.

I just talked with USCIS 2 days ago asking about how long it may take. (in CSC) She told me "normal" processing times right now are at about 6 months. But, each case varies. I've searched through a lot of the threads here on VJ and the timelines are all unique. Some take 3 months, some a year...Just depends on each individual case. Good luck on your case Be patient... it is VERY hard. I've been in process for almost ALMOST 3 months exactly. I have no touches nor updates. PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE.
