Hi!
I was wondering if the birth certificate of the US citizen is required for the interview (the checklist provided with packet 4 only talks about the canadian fiancé's birth certificate).
Thank you in advance!

I'm probably not a good one to be answering this because my interview was a couple of years ago but I do not recall the USC having to provide a birth certificate. If I remember correctly, all that information is contained in the initial petition.

I had no clue just before my interview! I phoned MTl (ya they answered the phones back then) and some clueless lady said she didnt know!! So I had to have my wife send hers by fed ex next day delivery from the USA to my hotel in Mtl!! Was pricey!! All for nothing, as they did not require it!! but that was in 2004

I can't remember if it had it on my package 3 or 4...and I was in Vancouver...but for all it's worth, if you have it, bring it!
Good luck at your interview tomorrow Melusine!!
