This 'controversy' seems to raise its ugly head in the US 'etiquette' discussions every once in a while... wondered if it reaches farther than just the US....
I'm an 'over' girl myself... and I admit to adjusting the roll, even if it's not my house!!

lol Im with you Jen.....Im an over girl as well.......and I will change it no matter who's home I'm in .......probably one of the only things I am anal with
I never used to be until I had my 4 kids.......there is nothing worse when they would get poop on their fingers when wiping their butts and if the roll is under they inadvertantly get poop on the wall when getting more paper hahahahahaha

That made me laugh so much!!!!!!!!
And I voted "depends on my mood" I was an over girl before.... but now I don't pay attention to that so much anymore.

Over the roll so it's easy to grab... nothing worse than not being able to find the end of the toilet paper roll!

Nothing worse? How about running out, with no other options?

Under. It's easier to rip off that way. If it's over, you have to put the other hand on top of the roll to hold it and keep it from rolling while you tear.

It's gotta be over. And "if" Javier puts a new roll on the wrong way, I have to change it. Drives me nuts!

I agree. I grew up in a house of "unders"
When I'm lazy I'll place it on the roll however I'm holding it

It just have to go over the roll to the front, and if my SO doesnīt set it right I fix it. Actually, for years and years Iīve been doing that at my house. Be it in my bathroom, momīs bathroom, the guestsīs bathroom, whichever bathroom I use in the house I need to fix the roll.

Under!!! Hehe. I'm very picky about my toilet paper. Ryan never put the toilet paper on the roll. Haha. Anytime I see toilet paper, I fix it. And I mean ANYTIME. Work, public restrooms, friend's bathrooms, home, etc. LOL!

In Japan they have it fall over top much easier, My lovely wife always adds a nice riangle crease after she uses. I attempt the fold and it always looks sloppy

I can't put my TP on the holder at all. My kitty thinks it's a toy and unrolls it all over the apartment. I keep it hidden in the cabinet under the bathroom sink.

My husband doesn't use TP so I have TOTAL POWER! When it comes to work, if it's not falling to the front where it's easy to find and pull, then I switch it.
