Hi BeHappy,

Your package was received at Texas but Texas will transfer it to Vermont. That seems to happen within one to two weeks after cashing the cheque. Texas isn't processing I-751s any more - they just made the official announcement the other day. Congratulations on getting the NOA1 - it looks like the system has been fixed.

That gives me hope that I will get an extension letter within the next few weeks. We are planning a possible trip to Grand Cayman island in sept and my GC expires in july.

Congrats on your letter!

If you don't get the letter in time, make an INFOPASS appointment and get the I-551 stamp in your passport. That will be sufficient.

Nope Collie, you won't get a letter, because we got yours! Just kidding.

We got an NOA1 from Texas last week then another one yesterday. We had biometrics May 7th and not one touch on our status since April 16th, when they supposedly transferred our case to Vermont, but all the stuff we're getting in the mail still says Texas.

I can just see our file now sitting in the bottom of a box to be transferred - on the bottom of a pile 10 deep in a truckload of piles of boxes being transferred to Vermont - then the truck driving off a cliff or something.

Both NOAs say that if we haven't already done so to please send documentation to support our case. I feel like recreating our file and sending it to Vermont myself so I know it gets there, with copies of all these letters and our biometrics receipt in there so they can see what confusion we're getting out of TSC.
