ok i've asked this before a few days back on the embassy thread and i am still at a loss as what to put in the letter from my ex to say that he agrees to allowing me to take 1 of my 2 children with me ( as my eldest wants to stay here with his dad sad.gif )

So anyone know of a draft that floating about that i can copy from and do I need to get him to get it witnessed by his solicitor ????

It dont say much in the checklist about this - only mentions a custody decree and as have never been married never been through the courts for custody.

many thanks if you can think of anything that may help it would be appreciated.

i know that the purpose of the affidavit is completely different, but maybe you could use the frame of the affidavit that I posted in the wiki here. It might prevent you having to pay someone to write up the thing for you.
