Good morning everyone
i supposed to gain some weight now especially cause i quit smoking since a year ago.
but i think I'm losing weight cause of the visa process.
it really drives me nuts . we did not file for the visa yet and we are under hug stress .
i think before i will be with my fiancee i will have some blood pressure problems cause of that damn journey .
i really don't know what will happen from one day to the next . cause every single day we find out something make us so confused.
i wonder why the heck they make it that hard to be with the one you loved.? or to move to usa?
and at the same time American can move to Egypt in one second .snap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now i will plead the 5th and try to calm down and start to work .

Tenderheart.....my husband did the same thing. He lost so much weight he looked like a skeleton when I picked him up at the airport. He is almost 6 feet tall and weighed a little bit over 132. We went through having a baby apart and a death of his father. The last time I left Egypt I was 8 months pregnant without any idea of when we would see each other again. He has gained about 11-12 pounds in a month. His eyes look so much better, there are no longer dark circles under them. The stress of everything can just about kill you we all know this but I think importantly keep living your life. Keep going out with friends, visiting family and doing every day things. This helps to keep your mind free of the visa process if only for small amounts of time. May God be with you and everybody else going through this hell.

the Pineapple Clean-up crew had a yucky job of mopping up rotten pineapple squishies. Noura, I didn't know u could dance so well with the mop.

Hubby has a honeydo list today. He has to call the phone company to set up phone svc in the new shop, then go get a tax ID for the business so it won't cost so much to get all the supplies. After that, It'd be nice if he would go ahead and start moving in but I totally don't see that happening today.

my sis is here which im thrileld about, but she brought here scottish terrier and mini schnauzer, which are about to make me lose my mind...ahhhh 3 dogs 2 cats and a baby...waaay too mcuh noise

Awwwwwwww, give or take a few weeks. I got back in the states mid January and had him the end of February. I was a nut but I wanted him to see my big belly and you know all of the rest!

Hello ladies...recoving from last night still. Had a blast as usual! Nagi, Amal, JJ, GG and everyone made sure the party was jumping all night! Can't wait until the next one!!

I did talk to R this morning...she was mad I did't call her for 4 day.... UGH!!! She called me this morning but I was getting ready for work so I called her as soon as I got to work. I calmed her down pretty quick though and we are back to being all lovey dovey! Sick, I know. But she's just so darn cute!

This week's off to a great start so far....and with the help of Nagi and her direct line to Him upstairs, I am hoping for some good news soon....like an approval. I could definitely go for that! I know I am probably getting ahead of myself, but I just have a sense of calm and carefree! Strange I tell ya, strange!

YUM!!!!!!!!! Hubby has started to drink coffee but I haven't introduced him to ice coffee yet. It has to have a TON of sugar in it though!!!

duhhhhhh sugar rush, that's the point! I tried it in my kitchen the other day, I made my own! It was awesome and saved $4.

Sad when I have to decide between a gallon of gas and an iced coffee at Starbucks lol.

I used to use splenda in everything but now I'm accustomed to his making us both tea after supper and he puts like 4 tsp of sugar in it, so...now I put sugar in my coffee too and man what a difference!!!


I got a delivery of oil three weeks ago and it was approx $580. I thought, wow that's high..................................well last night I shuffled through some paperwork and found out it was only 1/2 a tank!!!!!


Just last year a FULL tank ran me approx $350!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW it is 91 degrees here! hella ya finally.

My husband started making his own iced coffee too. I tasted it and it was actually good and I'm not a coffee drinker.

It is rather warm here.

Last night we made popcorn the old fashioned way in a huge pot with some oil and then I poured melted butter on top. The kids were 50/50 on it but boy did it bring back memories!!! I don't think I'll ever go back to microwave again. Seriously it took less time to pop than the microwave *and* not one kernel remained unpopped!

Awww, we always used to make popcorn that way. We didn't have a microwave! Good idea - we should do that again just for old time's sake!

About a month ago we got a bag of caramel/chocolate popcorn from Faneul Hall and I was thinking now I could make that myself *but* the kernels were huge compared to the ones we made last night. I'll have to hunt around for big kernels 'cause that was real good too.

Just another day at work. I've worked non-stop since the 27th. And the crappy part is I'm salary, so no overtime for me. I better get some comp days for doing this. I'm so looking forward to this weekend.

Badr should be getting his packet this week, so we'll have an interview date soon. I'm so excited. And because of that, I'm having a hard time concentrating on work.
