Looking at some posts regarding the nvc process i got a little bit confused.
i recieved the DS-3032 form two weeks ago and i filled it out as an agent. i send a cachier check with $70
i am still waiting for the I-864 package? my questions are :
I am doing something wrong ?
Does my spouse need to fill the ds 3032 from her side and send it ?
and how do you pay the I-864 fee ?
should my wife prepair the documents provided with D-230

You can pay online (see the link on my timeline).
They take a little time to generate the next set of instructions. Give them a call and see what the message says. Also, you can create a printout (bar code) and do the next bit if they have received the $70. Expect a $400 fee... I never tried the bar code trick but look on here and folk will tell you how to do it.

Waiting for the snail mail packages takes awhile! If you can, pay online (call the NVC and ask an operator for your Invoice Identification Number) and then go to https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx

After it is processed (no more than 2 business days) you can print a cover sheet and send your docs immediately.

You´re not doing anything wrong, you just have to wait. (Took us almost 20 days to get our DS-3032 in the mail!!!) Only you have to send the DS-3032, your wife´s copy is just for having a copy.

Be patient and listen to the NVC hotline...603-334-0700.

I don't know but seems the online payment system is not working anymore

It works now...it was just down for a while today for servicing.
