We just sent our DS-230 papers to the NVC--they arrived there yesterday. Weīre about a week from being done. Then last night, I got an e-mail saying that our I-129f has been approved! What will most likely happen? We originally wanted the K-3, but when it didnīt get approved together we decided to pursue the CR-1. In the long run, it didnīt take much longer and it will be better afterward. But what will they do with our I-129f now?

So no one has had this happen to them? Or just no one wants to reply?

Hi' i just read your post and have read similar one before as well. According to my understanding from all post on this site, you do not have to do anything and let it run as it is. Do not bother calling and trying to cancel it at this point otherwise it will cause confusions and may cause delays. You I-130 will be approved and will be given a interview from it. I hope I answered your question. I wish you all the best

I would for sure just ignore the K-3 at this point. It looks like you are doing very well. The NVC doesn't have a record of receiving the kid's I-130, so we are in the opposite situation. They indicated very clearly at the beginning that they wanted a K-3. Now they are wishing they could change to the CR1. They also filed at the CSC.
