i just wanted to share my experience. May be it might help others...

I had my med exam in IOM, Moscow yesterday. It was really nice and easy. I had to register at their office at 2ya Zvenigorodskaya str - the lady was really nice, explained everything in details and off i went for the actual check to the hospital. It went smoothly there too. I only had blood taken, and x ray and then i had a conversation with a really funny doctor:"did u have this and did u suffer from that....."

he looked at my old medical history card for vaccinations - i didnt have any signature or stamp on it but it was fine - and i only had to have 2 extra shots which i had at the place.

total cost - 170$ (!!! but well.....)

i started at 9 am and had my results in a sealed envelope by 3.30 pm

in short - a piece of cake..)

Glad it went well for you. That pretty much was how it went, also, for my Alla and one of her children. Her son's doctor was more "serious" and asked a lot more questions then they did of her or her daughter. Overall she was happy with IOM's procedures.
