I want to know what seminar does my husband need to attend? His petition is CR1 and i am a filipino but US citizen? I am very confused...is it just PDOS or there's more? thank you

Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar

If he have attended before the Guidance and Counseling, no need anymore. But if he have not yet attended that, and he already has the CR1 visa, its the P/DOS. Anyway, it's just the same. The difference is how it was termed on when it was taken.

He needs to attend the CFO Guidance and Counseling Seminar. PDOS is for OFW's only so he don't need it.

Pre-Departure Registration

Filipino emigrants or those leaving the country to settle permanently abroad are required to register with the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO). Part of its registration requirements is attendance in the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) to prepare them for settlement overseas.

Sounds like they have to do PDOS.

Guidance and Counseling Program is a program under the P/DOS (Pre-departure Orientation Seminar).
