Shabbat Shalom from Jerusalem! We finally made it after a long, grueling 14 hour flight from LA to Tel Aviv! Going to wander around the old city today and marvel over the beauty of Jerusalem! We can even see Mount Zion from our hotel room! I hope you all have a great weekend!!!!

You need to take some awesome pics! If you go North to the Sea of Galilee you will almost be to Ammar's village I hope your throat is feeling better. It's only 14 hours from LA to Jerusalem? Did you stop anywhere? I have to do a 1.5hr flight to Chicago and then if I am lucky I can do a non-stop 12 hour flight to Amman, then an hour and a half drive to Irbed. Those are the worst hours ever

i have to do the long flight alone with my 1year old this summer - G-d give me strength! My hubby is going a week earlier with our older one....

Ohhh noooo... do you have plans to keep him occupied? Is it 12+ hours as well? Is it a red-eye? I tried to mostly fly RJA. RJA is filled with a bazillion children. Some are just completely awful, but the ones I saw who were good were basically put to "bed" on the plane when they were strapped in (9.30 or so PM) and then they would sleep for about 7/8 of the 12 hours, then the parents pulled out the entertainment of crayons, etc. Nightmare children more or less got it all shoved at them up front, threw all the crayons everywhere and screamed, ran around like nuts, etc. I have no idea what we'll do if/when we ever take that flight with kids. I kind of dread it!

Good morning and happy Caturday all! I thought I had a new caturday pic but alas, I dont, only pineapples.

its official, the princess is a crawler. well, thats a stretch, its not exactly crawling, more like a mix between creeping and the wounded soldier crawl. but there is definite mobility and the ability to get from point A to point B with a lot of grunting and effort. the cats are on the run . and I am trying to figure out where to put things like the cat boxes and my sons huge erector set out of reach.

Kelly, do you think his eyes will stay blue or is this just the normal blue baby eyes? I dont think even yet that Amirah's have settled quite on one color, they are still shifting around a little....

I dont know if zaids eyes will stay blue. its hard to say...mine and sofyans parents all have blue eyes, and all my brothers and sister have blue, his brothers and sisters green... but sofyan and i have green eyes, so i definitly think they will be one of the two....he sure would be handsome with dark hair and blue eyes tho!

hey you guys, random question...recently I have been seeing a lot of 11:11. On the clock, watch, whatever. Literally my eyes seem to fall on the clocks EXACTLY at 11:11 whether its AM or PM. Could this mean something? It has not stopped, I don't consciously do it, but even just now I looked it was 11:11am....oi.
