yeah I leave it blank but you can write no schedule yet or months with year without specific date...

For me, I put the date and even the details of the flight on DS-157 because Ryan had already booked our tickets. But I think the safest is what jom wrote on her form. I heard that there are Consuls who are particular of this concern.
