A huge congratulations to you on this fantastic news. Sorry I am getting it late but I have been busy with our wedding plans and only pop in and out of VJ from time to time. I know it has been a long road for you guys and I am thrilled for both of you. The wait until fall will seem an eternity but all will be well and the wait will be worth it. I wish you two the very best and hope you keep us posted about future developments.

Jeff & Alla -- I want to chime in with my congratulations, too (maybe as the caboose). Other matters, including getting my wife off on her first trip back to Russia (to see mom, son, grandson, etc.) ate up time. And then there have been 7 months of real life since she arrived -- which were fantastic.

I am sure your first half-year together over here will be great, too.

Thank you! Yes, that photo is a favourite. It was taken, candidly, almost two years ago, by my son when he went to Russia to visit us. It captured our feelings quite well!
