All the best for your interview good.gif
All you need to do is show up at the consulate with your spouse and carry your US passport.
Daniel came to the interview with me and tha made a lot of things easier.
Make sure you let them know that the both of you are together

It really does not matter what consulate it is.. Thats US soil and they cannot stop a US citizen from entering. They may or may not let you sit for the interview but the mere fact that you are present helps a lot..
Daniel was asked to sit in the visitor's launge during the interview but by then they knew he was there with me and that proof enough of a bona fide relationship.
Hopefully, someone from Chennai will also reply

My wife also showed my passport to the interviewing officer and said"if there were any questions they had for me, I was there"... that helped alot.. he actually called me and asked me a simple question.. and said it is fine.

I attended my the interview in Chennai and there was no problem with going into the embassy just needed to show the passport. The interview it self was a lot easier since I was there with her.
