For those that have scheduled after 3/18, how long did u have to wait after USEM recieved your case files to schedule your appt?

I called Lorraine today at the Imm visa unit and she said they had recieved our case files today and we could go ahead and schedule. I called the scheduling service and got my PIN but then they told me I could not schedule yet????????

thanks

Maybe you could try it thursday or friday Philippine time.. if they recieved your papers today they still need to encode it in their data base..... the call center they are using is teletech and when we call to make interview and other visa inquiries to that call center they will only know whatever info that has been feed on the system, they won't have access to our actual file..

my theory is that Lorraine might have seen your physical files and thought it has been encoded by some of her colleagues already and so she advised you to call the call center when in fact it was still to be encoded.

Our file was received by embassy March 28 (friday) we decided to give it working days before calling and called april 1 and was able to set up interview appointment with no problem.

Good luck and may you soon have that interview. God bless always.

It should be only a matter of day before they will be able to give you a interview date via the PIN service number.

Here is link below I called on the numbers below and they handle all Visas, They were able to tell me what day the package arrived in Manila.
