It is 343 miles from Kansas City to Kearney... That's about a 5 hour drive... Not too bad of a drive.

Hi guys! I am soooooooooooooooo jealous!!! I missed another fun gathering and to think I am not so far away from where you are. David and I went to W. Memphis, AR for the memorial day weekend. If it wasn't like a family tradition, I would have asked David to just attend this one. Oh well... I know I will be given the chance to meet you all. Miss you guys!

There will be another time.... We were all thinking about you, but we knew you were in AR enjoying yourself down there.. I would like to see another get together scheduled later this summer. The way gas prices are, we might have to depend on bicycles to get from point A to point B... We all miss you too!!!

I'll make sure we'll make it next time. The thing is, if it's a federal holiday or any kind of occasion, David and I always spend it with his family so I hope the next gathering, there won't be any special occasion. We might go to NE again sometime in July or August. We're thinking about stopping by just to see you guys. We tried doing that before but it's an 8-hour drive to get to NE and we're always in a hurry. Next time, we'll make it earlier to have some time to see you guys.

It's good to see everybody in the pictures especially you, DARUMA (shortcut, lol). And speaking of bike, just got one for $15 (bargain).
