When you say Iraq .... is your Husband military ?

If so, you do not need to wait for the NVC section like everyone else .... simply let them know that he is deploying and send them a copy of his orders and a request for expedite thru to the Embassy including expedited interview .... ASAP!
If his orders have not been cut yet, then simply get him to ask his Commander for a letter on military headed paper explaining the situation and send that to the NVC immediately .... and request the same thing.

If you send the information via a Senator too, they should be able to speed it up all the more for you.

Deployment that soon means they'd better move mountains and get you there fast .... and it can be done good.gif

Goodluck, and do let us know how you got on in the military spouse thread which can be found in my signature.

If he wants to go through the normal channels, get him to call the Military Immigration Helpline which is in my signature area ..... if he wants it faster, ask him to involve his Senator and request an expedite thru to the Embassy.

He mustn't be concerned about asking for help on this .... the Senators are there because they were voted in by the public, and as he's military they should want to help him.

He's doing a wonderful job protecting us ... please thank him for me.
