ok guys I need a little bit of help on the I129F form. I filling K3 and I sent out my I130 form and I kno they have recieved it cuz the check went through so I am filling out the I129F form to be ready to send as soon as my NOA1 comes in the mail but I have a question about 18.
the #18 question reads:
18. Has your fiancé(e) met and seen you within the two-year period immediately receding the filing of this petition?
Describe the circumstances under which you met. If you have not personally met each other, explain how the relationship was
established. If you met your fiancé(e) or spouse though an international marriage broker, please explain those circumstances in
Question 19 below. Explain also in detail any reasons you may have for requesting that the requirement that you and your
fiancé(e) must have met should not apply to you.
Do I explain my visit to Jordan and details about our relationship here? I was there October 2006.
Thanks to anyone who can help

hi how r and welcome to visajurney , yes you have to explain in details how the relation started with your husband.and btw i'm also from jordan lol, just explain how you guys have met each others (online,in person etc...) and that later you guys fall in love and that you guys use to call each others and chating online until the day you decide to go and see him and when you file the i-129f try to send more evidene in case if you havn't send it with your i-130 like
( emails, copy of phone records, copy of phone cards, make a copy of the jordanian visa stamp on your passport ,copy of the airplane ticket, if you guys have ever sent each others anything by mail make copy's of the post office stamps, send him emails until you recieve the NOA for you i-130 and make copy's, send him just whatever now by mail and make copy's , include all thi with the supporting evidence and if you need more room to explain you can add extra sheet of paper and explain everything and i'm sure it will work and good luck to you guys

Read instructions for I 129F.
K/3s and K/4sdon't answer questions B17 and B18. You just put N/A!
Check around as LOTS of people are shining on the K3 and going with the CR solo at this time.

I assume you are filing for a K-3 not a K-1? If so (meaning you are married), I recalled the instruction stated to fill N/A.

Ya I was checking the stats on that but i was noticing that california service center doesnt have alot of cr-1s finishing up. Im wondering what I should do with this situation... im sooo confused. And I dont think USCIS has an updated data base but im going to go check now

I-130 may take a bit longer but in the overall pictures it's worth waiting for. K3s are costly, stressful and uncertain.
Adjusting status can be a nitemare. Was for us. If I had to do it again I'd go with the CR-1/ CR-2 and forget about filing for the K3/ K/4.

I do have a question though......
ok so when I sent my packet I sent a cover letter stating that i would be filling the I129f opon NOA1. Is this going to cause a problem for me if i chose to just go for the cr-1?

I doubt it but it's hard to say for certain. I think if I were you, I'd call USCIS and ask them to make a note to your file that you decided not to file the I-129F.
