Some questions regarding taking on (or not) children that aren't your own when getting involved with your SO.
Feel free to discuss.

He has a 20 yr old daughter who was back in the States by the time we started living together, and a 16 yr old boy who lived with him. I also have 2 teenagers...they all became great pals, which was cool.
we are now left with my 10 yr old.....I know it was something he thought seriously about before getting involved with me as he was about to retire and move to some 3rd world country

I am really pleased he gave it alot of thought
He also has a grandchild born last year.....hehehehehe

well obviously crash has jr from his previous marriage... so here i am at age 38 becoming an instant mom to a 14 year old boy... and oooh no stretch marks....
seriously, as i've gotten older i realized i would probably meet a man who had kids of his own already. it never occurred to me that he may actually have full custody. however, with crash it didnt matter at all. yea i thought about it for about 5 minutes. but when i realized how much in love with crash i was the fact that he was custodial parent didnt matter. and now i love jr as if he were my own...

He has an 18 yr old daughter and 15 yr old son. I have 3 boys, 12, 10 and 10(twins).
His lovely brother told him he was making a mistake signing up to raise my kids when his are almost out of the house. I guess he did not know how to say congrats. I feel this is a good time to make use of the word chopf##k.

Been there, done that, would not do it again. This time, I wanted someone who's body hadn't already been through the rigors of childbirth, with someone elses child.

He has no previous kids. If he did I wouldn't mind at all.

It'd just make things harder financially.
