Hey All!!!
I was wondering if anyone can give me some sort of clue regarding the NVC timeline. How long does it take for NVC to approve after they receive all required documents. I think two weeks, please correct me if i am wrong.

Also, does NVC assigns the interview date or the US Consulate in the beneficiary's country. Say for example my case completes at NVC on 15th of June, so approximately when would be my interview date.
I would be grateful for any advise. thank you all and wish you all best of luck.

The US consulate will assign the interview date.

Fill in your timeline, visa type, and country details. So that VJers can better respond to your questions. Those who are going through the same consulate will be able to give you the best estimation of your interview data.

My Ds-230 was sent and received and all I have to submit is the I-864 by the end of this month. I was wondering after i send in the I-864 how long will it take at NVC since they have all other documents. As i have read on other people's post the NVC assigns the interview date with the consulate and send it to the consulate. Please advise

what country are you from. since diffrent countries have different thing. if you submit all your info in case complete only take about 2 weeks. if your embassy is not appoinment post it would take you about 3-5 months for interview after case complete. if it appoinment then it will be faster.

Hi Ali786,

My husband is the beneficiary from Pakistan, so same country as yours. Our case was completed on May 20th and I called NVC and was told that they would schedule us an interview date the 2nd week in June,( NVC lady told me they schedule every 2nd week of the month for interviews, depending on when your case is complete) but the interview itself would be for July.

So, Pakistan is an Appointment Post, NVC will set up the interview date and send you and the Benef. the interview letter.
Hope this helps.

Hi' Aisha,

Thanks for your reply. Thats nice to know that your case has been completed. I am just waiting for my employment letter and I am starting a new job next week so I can send my Affidavit Of Support. I already have sent my DS230 and they sent me a check list of missing documents for my I-864. Hopefully, this Friday I will send everything.
So you are saying that they are taking three weeks before they can schedule your interview date. I hope my wife gets an interview in July as well.
I wish you best of luck.
