Hi everyone,

Just wanted to check with those who have had their interviews scheduled. Does NVC schedule the interview ONLY during the second week of each month?

In my case, my husband called NVC on Friday and was told that our case was complete that day itself (May 23rd). He was also told that since June interviews have been filled, we should be scheduled for a July interview. So do we wait for the second week of June to check back with them, or can we just call them even before then, like this Tuesday since Monday is a holiday. I'd hate to ask him to keep on calling if they really do only schedule them in the 2nd week of June.
I know I'm being very impatient but this will put my mind at ease.

I would have to say no. I called Wednesday and was told the interviews were done for June and call the second week of June for July. I decided to call Friday since I was leaving to see my husband and we will be in a location without electricity or telephone. I called to explain and was trying to find another method than having a family member try to find out--they have better things to do--and then have his family find us in the jungle. I was told my interview was scheduled on Thursday for July 1 and confirmed Friday. So they scheduled me in May for June. My case was completed May 12 and scheduled May 22. Hope this helps you. That's my same question after checking yesterday a tracking list available in this forum I could noticed that this member who got his case completed on May 12 (mine was May 14) probably got his interview date this week since he's updated the list on Friday with his interview date. I've got confused by that since my husband was told by NVC that they only schedule interviews in the second week of every month and we last called them on Tuesday and they told him that they've tried to schedule us for June but it was not possible, so now we would have to wait for the second week of June to find out our July date.
Well, based on that I would say NO to your question and I will definately tell my husband to call them tomorrow to check. I also have another phone number that I've called and it's easier to be reached, if NVC already has scheduled your interview date, this dpt will let you know. It's 202.663.1541.

Check this list and add yourself in it. By the way, you'll be able to see that FUSmome who I've mentioned above, updated this list on Friday with his interview date, so that's a good evidence that NVC does schedule dates all the month long, not only in the second week.

Hi just wanted to let you guys know that I was also told that the interviews was scheduled the second week of each month by two different agents at NVC One told me to call back after a week Im wondering if maybe they contacted the embassy the second week of the month and was just waiting to hear from the embassy anyway good luck with getting your date im sure it wont be long

Yes, I guess that is what happens to all of us dealing with NVC informations, but thanks to this forum we may be informed of every changes, touches and we can keep track of their moves almost instantly since we're all keeping our timelines here updated. Thanks FUSmome for your comments!!
