Folks,
I had a Q with regards to my spouse's interview. She forgot to submit IRS returns to the VFS. Is it possible to submit additional documentation pertaining to sponsorship at the time of the interview? i.e. when they have the cursary set of Qs with consule officer preceeding the interview ?

any personal experiences or suggestions please?
thanks

Yes, she can submit the IRS returns at the interview. Very often people have paperwork that was not ready to give to the VFS (like medical, PCC, etc.) and they just gave it at the interview, no problem.

When i went to submit documents to VFS, they did not accept tax documents; they told me to take to interview instead! ..so it is supposed to be submitted at consulate only.

why are you submitting Tax returns at VFS ??? you have to do that when filing i-864 right .......... for k-3 visa is all done once the beneficiary enter U.S.. with Adjustment of Status. ... for CR-1 you should get an RFE for missing documents if it wasn't submitted

I think in CR-1 they check financial support on NVC but they can ask in interview too.
