I decided to call NVC tonight even though I was told my case would not get assigned a interview date till possibly the second week of June since they only assign interviews during the second week of each month. I got the same automated "your case was completed on May 12". I called back and spoke to person and he told me your case was completed I said thank you and then he said the interview date is July 15 at 8am Oh my gosh what a shock so it seems that no matter what they say things can always change.

I also decided to call NVC this afternoon. Wednesday I was told all June interviews assigned for June. Call back July 9-13 for July. I was fine with this. But I am leaving this weekend for the jungle in Peru and knew it would be impossible for me to call. I had a family member willing to try, but I was looking for a better solution than having them try to reach a person at NVC. I got through on three tries. Then I talked to Jake and explained the situation and all I wanted was a better way to get the information. He said when I called Wednesday, they were finished for June. But my interview was scheduled for July 1 and it was confirmed today. I couldn't believe my ears. I am very happy I do not have to worry about the date. Thank you VJ for all your help. Yes, FSUmome, miracles do exist and congratulations.

woo hoo!! I hope i get a date soon. I haven't talked to an operator since the beginning of May. I'm hoping for a July interview date.
