Don't you love it when your hubby gets a A on his electrical final... yay hubby!!!

he had to wire up something up for his final and he said he was done in 20 minutes but the teacher said something was wrong so hubby said he spent another 30 minutes or so checking to see what was wrong and then he said to this teacher, hey there is nothing wrong with it and the teacher looked it over again and said.. oh yeah you're right .....lol

Don't you love it when the stray/abandoned cat you have been feeding on the back patio because she has been crying to come in the house and you are such a softie, and about who you have been having sinking feelings she may be pregnant finally gets to the vet for a health check up and you discover that not only is she feline leukaemia negative - she has already been spayed and that round belly is a food satisfied cat!
(Anyone want to give this cute little girl a home - I would take her if I could but Joe has said 5 is enough:-().

You call the employment agency at just the right time...
Thursday morning: Call employment agency and get told about a wonderful job.
Friday morning: Interview for the job, even though your printer decides to hate you and not print your résumé.
Friday afternoon: Get a call from the employment agency offering you the job!!!!!!
Too bad it takes being sued by a collection agency to cause this to happen, hehe.

We get hummingbirds here as well - they are adorable. You can buy a hummingbird feeder and put this red coloured sugar water in it (change it at least every week) and you will see lots more. They love rosemary flowers, basil flowers, okra flowers and butterfly bushes too:-).

I love it when the cats see one of the little skinks or anoles or salamanders on the rosemary plant out the back window - or even crawling across the screen outside. These little, harmless lizards are about 2 or 3 inches long with a 2" tail and are really, really cute. They don't seem fazed at all by the cats but if I go outside to water the plants they take off. They climb up the walls or anything they can cling to. The skinks are neon blue and the anoles are lime green. Poor little salamanders are just plain brown. Cheap cat toys, hehehe - keeps them amused for hours.

I love it when, upon taking an night walk to clear my head of junk, I find a little hill to climb in Lincoln Park (this is the flatlands...) and look up to see that there are tons of fireflies and bunny rabbits.
It felt like I was in the constellations!
What a wonder-full gift.
It eased me troubled mind and made me smile.

...your husband is kind enough to change the spark plugs in your car for you despite the fact that the heat index is a sweltering 94°F (34°C).
I am beyond happy about this since it cost me about $150 to have it done by a mechanic last time (yeah, I think I got ripped-off).
