I try so hard to be brave and just keep plugging along waiting....it will be one year in aug since we sent in the application to csc........plz does anyone have any other ideas.....im tired stressed........nope not gonna give up but man im not an angel im not perfect i dont have anymore patents left.........i seem to only have two emotions left either crying or mad............

Man I am so sorry.........I wish there was something I could do for you. Please don't stop pestering CSC. Something has got to give here? Have you had any RFE's? Anything that you know of that could possibly be slowing the process?
I see that you wrote he was previously engaged? To whom another american who submitted a K-1 Visa Application?
Just curious. Trying to help you find some logic to the hold up here.

Man this totally sucks. I can't believe how long this is taking for you guys. I feel for you very much and hope things will finally break loose for you. You have waited much to long. Please know we are all with you and praying for you. Have you guys seen each other lately? Is it possible?

I hope you can hang in there, both of you. If I can think of something new or fresh to try I will let you know. Don't give up like you said. It will happen sweetie. Take care and keep us posted. KEEP BUGGING EVERYONE!! smile.gif

Oh Sara, i'm so sorry hon.

Ok..well I suggested this to sara in PM and i'm not sure it would even make a difference, but i'm going to throw it out there to get your opinions....

I was thinking that if I drafted a template letter on sara & perviz's behalf we could all perhaps copy and paste it in an email to her senator's, congressmen, attorney...and anyone else who might listen. Having a larger voice can sometimes move mountains. wink.gif

I do realize they claim she/he is in name/security checks...etc..and that we must be diligent as a nation when it comes to this but a year is ridiculous! Perviz is not in a safe area in India and she has already spent weeks worrying if he is even dead or alive. I know there are horror stories all over and that their are others who have waited even longer in AP but Sara is one of us. Always here to offer her support and congrats. I would love to be able to do something on their behalf and i'm sure many of you would agree...
djaedi
Do you think maybe they found the other K-1 Visa that was pulled by her? Isn't there some deal like a waiting period for filing multiple k-1 visas? Or is that only for the applicant which in this case would have been her. Maybe it doesn't apply for the beneficiary (him). What I saw was that the applicant who files a k-1 visa and pulls it may have to wait for two years before filing again. Like I said I believe it was only the applicant who has this problem. If you guys did the security thing with no problems I really don't understand what else could be the hold up. God what a mess sweetie.

I know you have met, what I was hoping is that you guys could see each other now and hopefully it will help you with the waiting part. Just a way to keep the fire burning and give you more hope. Just a thought. Maybe it is not possible for you guys right now. I hope things go well for you very soon. blush.gif

have you tried the media?
go to a newspaper...or a TV show...and tell your story....Sometimes these things work...
I feel so bad for what you are going through...
I've been on VJ since we filed our application (2 months ago)...and i saw you posting so much and cheering people up...and congratulating people and i thought...this girl must be sooooo strong....they have been waiting for so long and she still has the strength to be happy for others...
And a lot of times i would look at your timeline and hope to see a change...a change for the better...
I know you will make it...i am just really sorry it is taking so long...
Don't know what else to say...
Call a newspaper...maybe someone will listen to your story...

And stay strong...just like you proved you were.... star_smile.gif

snowfrostedlashes
I feel so bad for you having to wait like this with no real explanation of why your case is being passed around so much. Have you tried addressing a letter to the USCIS as if you had received an RFE but requesting written confirmation of why your case keeps getting stuck in this ridiculous merry-go-round and perhaps providing additional support for your case with evidence of your relationship continuing since filed... I know that none of this should be necessary but I'm wondering if it might get someone to at least do something different with your case.

I really hope you hear some positive news soon!
Saffyre
I will keep sending all my good vibes your way and hope it makes a difference. Perhaps the recent touch with no call is a good sign?

My thoughts are with you, stay strong........

I like that idea! and would do it too!! wink.gif
Trying to get the press involded would be something to do as well!!
Don't really have new ideas, but feel really bad for you, and I am hoping to see your situation changing soon!! sad.gif
Don't worry about not being perfect!! Everybody is supporting you here, and you are such a brave person!!
Like Saffyre, I also wanna send you all my good vibes and energy for you!!
Keep annoying CSC, they got to tell you what's wrong!! mad.gif
Good luck, and tell us if you're going to follow some of those ideas!!

LuciansGirl
Sara,

I really do feel for you guys. Please do not lose your faith and keep calling CSC. You will get your NOA2. It's just horrible that you have to wait this long. I will keep you guys in my prayers. rose.gif

I think this is a fantastic idea! It's way easier than most people think (I work at a tv station)...just look up your local TV stations, call their front desk and ask them for the assignment desk. I've considered doing it myself...people who haven't done this before have no idea what this process is like. Everyone thinks it's just like the movies...and until that perception changes, nothing will change, because there's no public pressure for it to.

thank you so much for all of ur support and ur suggestions this is what i did today...........first i contacted our county commissioner he lives up the street from us and i got some new numbers for the congressman's office and a few other places.......of course first i had to go thru the are u sure he is not just using u for a visa to the usa speech loll
so i contacted our local news paper.....dont know if that will help but wrote into the letters to the editor since they dont answer the phone anymore but leave a messege type of thing......again contacted our senator.....left a mess.......again contacted csc ...plz stop calling lol......contacted our attorney again......i dont know he must have a common name there are so many levels of securty checks you have to go thru i dont see anything wrong with being sent to security two or three times as that is normal (WHAT!!!!!!!)lol
So we now know the attorney is a complete idiot of fool or maybe we are the fools for hiring him

Everybody loves you, Sweetie. Remember that. Si, man.

I was going to suggest contacting the media. If you make it into print or onto the airwaves, get copies of what is produced, and send them all over the place.

KEEP CALLING those CSC bastards DAILY. They ARE bastards, and I won't apologize for saying it. Call everyone else daily, too. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The one who speculated about age was probably trying to be helpful, but that won't hold water. The legal age of consent to marry without ANYONE'S permission in most states is 18. Furthermore, according to the March 2006 "Current Population Survey" by the U.S. Census Bureau, 53.7% of U.S. husbands are older than their wives, so you would be comfortably fitting in with that prevailing demographic.

What makes me maddest of all is that all the Illegals in the country are laughing their heads off at all of us, and the laughing started the instant our I-129f packages hit the outgoing mail. But, back to all of us here: One of the great American patriots said "If we do not all hang together, we shall surely all hang separately." Rely on the strength that you can get from us, Sweetie. Si, man!
Glen&Teresa
This one of the reasons, those of us who do get to the US need to push, bang tins, whatever to make this whole process a lot simpler and transparent. I respect the US government for the caution it exercises. But surely applicants deserve enough respect to know why their cases are taking so long
SHAPE OF MY HEART
I am sorry Estadia. I hope you and your fiance will get the good news very soon. Geez! Almost a year is too much time already for non-stop reviewing of your papers for giving you their APPROVED decision.

I am hoping for your approval very soon. Good luck estadia. VJ is here for you, to help you keep holding on and help you be stronger with the waitings.

Sara,

Just to let you know that Mercedes and I are rooting for you and first thing everyday, at home or at work, we check Igor's list to see if there's any progress on your case.

I feel bad shouting about our interview etc when you are stuck in a bad place. If I had thought of it, the run up to the Oregon primaries was the right time to contact Obama or Clinton. Hell, McCain will be looking for any support he can get in the valley so would be only too happy to help no doubt. Call his election headquarters.

Clinton Office in Oregon: Phone: 503.227.0269
Barack Obama: 866.675.2008
John McCain: 703.418.2008

Call Oprah's show, call the Washington Post, see if there's any watchdogs for the Immigration services and keep knocking on doors. I would imagine that a 'No' would be better than a 'Maybe' at this stage, for your mental state as much as anything ... and it's freakin' sad it's come to that, isn't it?

oh plz dont ever feel bad anyone about being happy and shouting ur wonderful news really it makes me feel better seeing that others are getting someplace in this jungle of a system that we have in the USA regarding immigration issues.........

thank you very much for all ur support and the numbers i will be calling them as soon as their offices are open at first i was afraid to do anything because i felt it might hurt us and tick them off to the point that they would deny us but to tell u the truth at this point even a denial would be better than sitting in the dark wondering this or that and never getting a decision.........

u know most people never feel the need to contact their elected government officials but someplace in the back of ur mind u believe that if the need should ever occur that they will be there for u.....

.i think that many have forgotten that it is the little people that put them in office to begin with .......and that family values and problems are something that should be dealt with as strongly in their occupation of their governmental seat as fighting for rebuilding of bridges or social security issues in our case it goes past that in our area there are not a great many doctors that are willing to work in the rural areas and serve the poor at the clinics .........
he is not just a person that would make my life complete but also an asset to our community

oh man i better get off my soap box lol im just so ticked off right now that i could go on forever and im sure that would bore everyone to death lol
but really thanks for ur support and i wish u the best u guys all of u are the greatest

Sara,
I fell so bad knowing you've been waiting all this time with still no approval. I havn't gone back to look at some of the old forums to see how everyone's doing. I was so mad last year when after we finally got our NOA2 in Oct, that they admitted they lost our paperwork...CSC claiming NVC lost it and NVC claiming they couldn't lose something that they never received from CSC..what a mess!

I agree with some other posters that you should contact the media. I used to have friends that worked at the Oregonian, so I'll contact them to see if there are any other avenues that you take. My brother knows someone who works as a reporter for one of the local tv stations. He's out of town until Tuesday, but I'll ask him if he can help.

Keep your spirits up..I know that's easier said than done, but your VJ family here really cares and will be dancing with you when you get that long awaited NOA2.

Keep me posted and take care!
