hi everyone.. i am still here.. just haven't been to a computer in ages. been having terrible headaches and looking at my beloved computer gave me headaches.. not only headaches, i have nausea.. and just feeling like crap.. ok. enough about that

my update is: NOTHING... darn you, nvc!!! well, i'm just venting, that's all. i sent in the RFE checklist last sept 20 and up till now, nothing new. maybe this week it will get approved. who knows. right know i don't care. i'm feeling too poorly to care... at this rate, Rajaa is going to be done with nvc before me! but that's ok since i supposedly don't care, right? hahahaha!

oohh... steve is having a boy.. congrats!!! well, my baby still looks like a blob but a curved-bean-shaped looking blob now with a heartbeat of 173.. plust get this, my lovely baby gave me gestational diabetes.. yay!! my OB screened me really early since my whole family is like diabetic. not my parents or any siblings but my uncles, aunts, grandparents, the works. so there's my gift from my family: diabetes.. so now, i am a high-risk pregnancy to top it off and will likely develop diabetes even after the baby is born.. lovely... didn't i say enough of this? hehehe..

so, not only am i losing weight cuz i can't eat.. i now how to diet because my body can't produce enough insulin... ENOUGH!

when i'm feeling a lot better, im going to update our tracker.. im sure alot has happened.

I have a small development...Not from VSC though....I got a Job...Finally...The hitch is that I am moving 2 a diffrent city( Bangalore....).....I already got a PCC from the local passport office and the Police station....will I need to get another one from Bangalore???

Rajaa, did you get your IV receipt alrdy? My hubby got our IV invoice & AOS receipt last friday and we sent the I-864 package & check last Monday. I guess it'll be another week til we get our receipt. I alrdy gathered all requirements for the DS-230 and will send the package to my husband. Once he gets the receipt, he can mail NVC the DS-230. Do you think we'll get interviewed by November??

Well for obvious reasons, I can't say that I know how you feel!!!

But my wife also was going through the same thing. She was vomiting all of the time, she could not keep anything down. And when we were apart, it was very difficult on her. Now she is 5 months. She still needs to eat something about every two hours or she feels like she needs to vomit. And when we go anywhere in the car, we always have a plastic bag with us just in case.

But soon you guys will be together and things will get better.

Sassy i paid online and it was just a day and the IV bill showed "paid" on line. I printed the bar code and reciept and sent in my DS 230. If I were you I would've paid on line and printed it that way too it took us only a day!!! now they receved my DS230 sept 29th but didn't start getting reviewed until the 1st of Oct. Reda and I are cutting it close to get a case complete by the 17th for a november interview. I am praying i did he ds230 right and no RFE and we might make it.

Good luck... i really suggest doing the online thing before snail mail anytime but you're almost done

Hi Rajaa!!! My hubby doesnt feel secure paying online so we paid thru snail mail last Sept 29th. I called NVC last night & they got the check. They sent out the receipt alrdy. I mailed my Richard the DS-230 + requirements today (he will get it on Monday) and we're hoping we'll have the receipt early next week. We don't want to get the RFE too!! We alrdy received an RFE for the I-130 and it wasted us 2mos! If i'm lucky, i'm gonna get interviewed December... but its fine coz i also want to get my plaque (5 yrs with the company-yipee!) & christmas bonus, hehe!!!

well congrats Sassy on the commitment to your job! You know everything happens for a reason good and bad. i am on another thread for speeding through NVC for August approvals you should check it out. We are all most all to the end of the process it's been great having eachother to get advice and suggestions from.

The Ds230 has been slowing down a lot of people, just to let you know specifically it seems the phillipean police certificate. i can get you the thread name if you are interested i am not sure exactly the problem and I sent in my husbands with the stamp and translated version so i pray it will be good.

Let me know how your case goes... we were approved about the same time so we should both be very close in this.

right now i would say you are starting the most difficult part of the journey it took 79 days for our CR1 to get approved and we were fast thanks to CSC so get ready to use your patience and prayer. You two will become a much stronger couple once you get through this journey... and let me welcome you to it.!!

hi all! i'm just going to be really quick cuz i don't feel good as usual.. BUT

WE HAVE AN INTERVIEW DATE!!!!! NOVEMBER 18, 0630 AM!!!!

i am soo freakin happy!! i called yesterday but couldn't go through and the dumb AVR keeps saying the same thing that they sent the RFE letter blah blah blah... so i called in the wee hours of the morning today and finally spoke to a real person. she said that there's already an interview scheduled and that this was assigned last oct 3.. i was freakin out! she was laughing at me and kept congratulating me.. i then repeated the date and kept saying nov 16.. she had to correct me a couple of times... i told her i just woke up and i'm just a little excited...

they sent the appointment letter to him and to me already.. don't know when that was.. i dont' even know if they sent the package to manila yet but i don't care... i'm just so happy...

ok.. happiness over.. i have to throw up...

congrats Jen!! please call NVC and confirm where the interview letter was sent. please dont take it lightly as he would need the appointment letter for the interview. have him bring tons of proofs of ur marriage and a copy of everything that u have sent to USCIS or NVC so far. good luck and i am very happy for u

Raaja, it's good to see things moving along for you. Maybe you could expect a case complete from NVC by end of this week. Their average time to review documents is about a week.

Thank you cmnb! I know, it's coming soon. My husband had his medical done at Satguru Partap Singh Apollo Hospital in Ludhiana on 10/6, he was asked to return this Friday to pick up the report. He said that the clinic was packed and this is at 8am. He has also paid the Courier Fee of Rs. 365 at the VFS office. At the VFS office, he was asked for an interview letter and his 2x2 photo. Now waiting for the interview day....

Even I got my Medical Done at Apollo Chandigarh done on 10/07.... But it was for my Pre-Employment test.....But there were about 35 ppl waiting for their Visa medicals at 8:00 in the morning.....I got a list of all the tests and the vaccinations from them in advance.....I am happy that at least I got a feeler way before the actual medical......

I also went to Golden Temple after that.....Hope God is listening and things will start moving

Kelvin we are with you none of us here like this or even wanted the pain we are going through caused by the seperation but we will make it one way or another. Just be strong and keep busy and hang out on VJ when all else fails We are a great bunch with alot of experience...

hi everyone! i am still here! so sorry haven't been able to post or anything.. just haven't felt well.. just got back from the doctor, my 2nd dr's appt for the day, and he put me on insulin shots twice a day. my OB dr said i was doing well and in a couple of weeks i'll be back to normal, hopefully. i have been out of work because they put me on IV fluid therapy and on a Reglan pump.. that's to control my nausea. i'm still not working but we will see how i feel in a couple of weeks..

Rajaa, i'm sorry to hear about your RFE.. been there done that but i don't understand why it is still under final review. mine took a week to review then they assigned an interview date.. all this was done and i didn't even know b'coz i didn't check for 2 weeks. it is election time.. maybe they're out campaigning or something.. sheesh... they need to approve you already.. they just don't understand the stress we all go through because of the delays..

and Kelvin, i don't know what to say... you can always unload here at VJ.. we all understand what you are going through. me and my husband have been doing the long-distance thing for 5 years now.. pretty crazy..

my husband's interview is Nov 18.. and i'm going out of my mind because i want to be there but i can't.. i am in no condition to fly for 16 hours.. darnit!!!
