Yes I too believe it was the hard copy that went through. As for the IV Fee Bill...I am waiting for him to wake up so I could speak to him about it. I think it should not be a problem because we had received the payment receipts online while the bill went to IN PROCESS mode. He did say he spoke to NVC about it but there was a power cut so couldn't talk. Anyway too much irrelevant detail I know but I'll keep you posted on this one. Officially the Bill was generated on August 1st.

No, her interview is the 14th, But I go down there next Saturday to be with her and go to the interview with her. Then, God willing, she will return with me. No more saying goodbye at the airport.

This forum is so awesome. It is easier somehow to go through this stuff with a bunch of other people going through the same things. It is still hard, but not as hard. I hope you get approved soon. My NOA1 for the I130 was dated 9 days after yours... it appears!

I am really confused..as per d USCIS processing times.....they are till processing 3 Sep 2007 Files as on 20th July 2008 how come all d cases way post Sep 2007 are getiing NOA2.....I had drummed my self to wait till Jan 2009 for my NOA2...but when I look at all these cases.....I just wish things cud move faster....

Don't pay attention to the USCIS processing times. The are not even close to accurate. They put them way out to protect themselves. And touches don't always mean anything. I have seen many people who had no touches, then all of the sudden the next touch was the approval.
Looking at your timeline, you are around the time of people who are just starting to get approved. So just hang in there and I would think that you do not have much more time until you get approved.
And just remember, compared to the rest of your life together, this is a short time to be apart. Down the road when you are together and holding each other and talking about how much you love each other. You will forget about this short time apart.
And Rajaa, this is for you too!!!! Just remember, it isn't easy. But the reward is great!!!!!

If you think it is tough now, just wait until you are approved and have your interview date. The days go by soooooooo slow. Every day seems like a month!!!

I sooo hate those goodbyes at the airport. the last time I was walking in to a check point leaving my husband and his father they stood and watched me his father trying not to cry... my husband stoic as usual. I put on my sunglasses and couldn't help the water works.... the moroccan police officer asked me to take them off... I started to but when he saw me he waived me in saying "please please put back on.... I am sorry" he looked past me at my FIL and husband and gave them the I understand nod of his head.
uuuugghhhhh now I am working on seeing him again I hope in September and reallly hate the idea of another goodbye. I am so happy for you Steve and anyone who will not have to do that ever again with their spouse.

Aman, welcome to team waiting....i am glad u found this forum...let me tell u, i follow this forum like religion....it just helps the day go by faster....our timelines r very similar and our consulate/embassy is the same as well. lets keep our hopes high and all will b cleared up soon...actually i dont want it to get delayed until jan...i am hoping to b out of NVC by dec and get a february date for the interview as I am going back to India to b with her for valentine's day. this way i can attend the interview also with her and bring her back with me...lets see how it goes...

I think any evidence related to you both would be useful. Our courtship too lasted about 2 years so I am getting letters, chat sessions and saved screens with web cam imagines as proof. But then again, my story could be different from yours. you both have roots in Philipines. My husband is a half palestinian half caucasian married to a pakistani....so we will be needing all the proof there is ...or so it seems...hmmm

When I go to the Reciept page, it shows the bill as paid and yes money was taken from his account. I think any evidence related to you both would be useful. Our courtship too lasted about 2 years so I am getting letters, chat sessions and saved screens with web cam imagines as proof. But then again, my story could be different from yours. you both have roots in Philipines. My husband is a half palestinian half caucasian married to a pakistani....so we will be needing all the proof there is ...or so it seems...hmmm
Also, needed to warn you guys...we paid the IV Bill after the DS-3032 had entered the system and the Bill had been invoiced on the 31st. Then it showed IN PROCESS. Now the AVR updated on the 1st and the message was about the IV bill has been generated and on the website...the status went back to NOT PAID
. I do not know what will happen from here as I have not been able to speak to Zayd since last night but its weird. He did say he will speak to someone at NVC. The AVR means nothing. It is always wrong or confusing. If it shows online a "PAID" There is no reason to pay again. Do not listen to the AVR. And no, you will not get a refund!!! The best you can hope for is that they reject the second payment because it is already paid.
If you try paying, then later it shows not paid and money was not taken out of the account. Then try paying again. I have seen where one person was asking what was going on, because he tried paying many times and could not get them to accept the payment. It turns out he kept putting in his account number wrong.

i knew for a fact and most of us here knew (before we started this visa journey) that its no where close to 3 months...thinking of getting all this done in 3 months is a dream that will never come true...not trying to discourage u but thats how the USCIS works, we wud b lucky if we get our cases approved from VSC in 3 months, let alone getting the whole process done in that time....if u got ur NOA1 in may, i would say that u shud b looking at a wait of atleast 10 months from start to finish..that wud mean that u will enter the US somewhere in march or so.....i had an idea of these timelines bfore my wife and I started this journey so she dint quit her job...she will quit around the time when she gets an interview date...this way she will have enough time to spend with her parents.
I figured @ 9 months... but who knows with my case????

Even If i am home by March I will be happy...tht ways I wud nt miss our anniv.....I wud hate to miss it any case......Imagine being together only for 5 days in a Year of marriage...sob sob.....

Shoukan! forget the K3 we're now going CR1 now the I130 was approved at 9pm last night.... I think it was weird I recieved the email so late in the night but what ever.
I think I have to wait until NVC gets the file.... Whooo hooooo
