Thanks everyone! My applications' approval shows things are moving along. Maybe not at the pace the we want to, but still moving along. Just hang in there and I'm sure everyone will get their approval notices soon.

Are you serious???? I just checked mine too and the same... The weird thing is the historical data for K3 filers .. the number of days from NOA1 to interview has went down to 241. I wonder why the estimated timeframes in our timelines have changed? When I started here mine initially said August 28 and now it's saying Oct-Nov for I129F and Nov-Dec for I130. Hmmm....

OK so I just updated my timeline back to CR1 from K3 and it changed saying adjuticated Oct 7-27th.... so it's down a month . that's good right?

I am also noticing on VJ for the past few days that VSC is catching up with CSC. They are a month apart processing I-130. Hope they stay that way. The USCIS website however, reports a date of Sept, 2007 for I-130 processing...I dont know what to believe. :confused:

I hardly understand anything they do and how they do it... so no help here. lol... I am happy today cause my husband and I are planing a trip for me to be there in September insha;allah... gives me some concrete date to look forward to.

good for you...even i was planning to take some time off to go see my wife around that time during the long weekend...but someone else requested time off in my department... sucks to be me!!

Way cool just went to corporate office filled out paperwork ( I already had printed and filled out, freaked her out that I was so prepared... something about VJ makes a person better I think lol) and met my new boss and they said to take the rest of the day off...lol and yes I am still getting paid. i have a feeling your case will be out of USCIS by second-third week of september. hey guess what july is almost over..lets see if i made a good guess....(although i sure hope that this touch is the touch of all touches )

after USCIS, you can push ur case to be out of NVC in another 6 weeks and then the final interview. i hope all works out for all us.

vermont seemed to move and now they are on their regular tone of going back to sleep...lets wait and watch...

Hey Rajaa, sorry could not respond to your posts. If you ask me, a single meeting with my husband is like 10 Eids all at the same time....(I guess I am too sentimental) but it sounds fabulous. I wish you a safe and wonderful journey.

Jen...I received a touch too yesterday...on both my new and old petitions. The have apparently brought my older Approved petition back to USCIS for review. Only they'd know whats happening. Lets hope this is going to get smooth from here....oh please please please God.

Rajaa please do not worry. This touch I received could be related to the request my husband made for an expedite after two bombs exploded near my house earlier this month. About 50 people were injured and one died after strings of bombs that blew in my area and other busy places around it. It was horrifying. I do not know if this touch was a general touch or a requested one as the e-mail I had received yesterday about my other petition said there was a request for it to be reviewed. I do not know but I can tell you, seeing the speed at which CSC is working, InshaAllaah something positive will happen for us soon. Don't loose hope as Rajaa means Hope and longing if I am not wrong.

ok, i have a question. might have been answered somewhere else but i'm just too lazy to research..

you have to send in the beneficiary's original/certified copy of the birth certificate with the AOS (affidavit of support), correct? but i already sent that in with my I-130 petition.. that doesn't count, does it? so, get another certified copy?

better ask now and get an answer, that way when i get to the philippines we can get another copy and take it back with me

I actually did not receive the hardcopy of NOA1. I had to call 3 times to have them resend it (as of last week). But I can check my case status online!

jen, i dont think your spouse's birth certificate was needed with your I-130 application. even if u did, u shud just have sent a copy....well if u can get a certified copy to NVC, u shud b fine...i think...

yeah, i know it wasn't needed but i think i "overthought," if there's such a word, on that too much and sent in unnecessary things. darn me!

so even if i had sent that certified copy to USCIS, the required certified copy for NVC still needs to be sent even though it is already with my file?

jen, if u sent in the original to USCIS, they r goin to keep it in their file and will not return it. your best bet is to ask your husband to get another copy from the birth certificate issuing authority in phillipines and send that to the NVC. this copy will be returned to him during the time of his interview...hope i am making sense now

rajaa, ur hubby will need to provide his original birth certificate with his DS-230...this will later be returned to him when he appears for the interview..if u r a naturalized US citizen, u dont need to give ur birth certificate...a copy of ur citizenship certificate is sufficient..

Rajaa, I only had one touch since NOA1 up to the time I got approved and that was last May. I wouldn't worry much about not getting touched. I'm sure things are moving along.

Jen, just get another copy of yours or your husband's birth certificate. You can file for a copy online at NSO website and just have it delivered. I'm sure you might need it sometime in the future.

i am going to have him order at least 3 certified copies for future purposes. he lives in the city so it's easier for him to get the copy at the NSO. longer and more expensive if i order it online..

nightsurf, what time did you get the approval notice? what time does it state on your email? just curious

As for the touch...hubby got back to his city today from his trip and found a letter from the USCIS stating that they have received the expedite request. That touch I suppose could be related to that as both files were touched.

Seriously Rajaa she can speak English and even though because of her age we are on great terms but hubby hasn't taught me any Arabic yet (either he doesn't want to or he is not good at it)...technically everything is well but I would love to secretly learm the contemporary Arabic so this year when I visit my husband's extended family in Amman...I can sneak around finding out what they talk about concerning me.
All the stuff a wife has to do....

I want to do the same thing!! i've been looking at local colleges to see if they offer Arabic. The other side of me is worried cause I kind of like the "ignorance is bliss" thing. My husband teaches me what he can and when I visit we have nightly classes and during the day he speaks to me in ARabic so I can learn. Eventually we'll learn insha'allah.
