the processing times have not been updated on the USCIS website. from what i know, this gets updated on the 15th of every month. does anyone know when this gets updated?
Rajaa_Reda
I was surprised by that tooo... I wonder. Are they behind on that too??? huh.gif
thirdsjen
hi all.. i've seen more than a couple of march CR1 filers approved already from CSC.. am i just seeing things cuz i haven't slept in almost 24 hours?

at least CSC is moving along with their processing times..

im not in a good mood after that LA massacre that happened in Boston last night.. dangit.. how embarassing.. but Boston deserved that. at least they didn't give up.. i'm still a Laker fan though.. always will be.. crying.gif

VSC CR-1 filers,

Have you noticed that the processing date for I-130 has not changed. From what i have read in some other forums, this date hasnt changed for the past 3-4 months. I called the USCIS and basically got a lady beating around the bush and not trying to answer why this is the case and what that date really means. I asked her if this is the date from when "atleast one" application is pending or do you guys have tons of them. No clear answer. Should we switch to K3??
Rajaa_Reda
Goooo CSC!!!!! whoooo hooooo... Sorry anyone outside of it. I hope they catch up and CSC doesn't slow down.
thirdsjen
goodnight to everyone.. time for me to sleep. your days are my nights. (freakin' night shift permanently messed me up)

cmnb, wish i could be more of a help to you. try researching under "immigration timelines" for VSC CR1 trends in relation to K3 trends. but then this is just based on VJ filers who have filled up their timelines. not very accurate data but something to give us some kind of idea.

thanks thirdsjen, the timelines on VJ pages are not very consistent...but i guess ill just stick with CR-1 for now (hopefully my mind doesnt change again in a few minutes)
thirdsjen

according to that data, VSC is working on 1-129F of MARCH FILERS? huh? that can't be right.. so if you base it on that, you need to send your I-129F like now.. but how accurate that is, is the question.. we just need a little more patience, i suppose.. i know i do. but according to some spreadsheets here, (Delicia's) CSC is working on approving febuary and some march filers already for CR1.. VSC, is very sporadic..

Longbranch
Terrible news out of the Philippines with the ferry accident and flooding. Are all your loved ones safe?
thirdsjen
hi Longbranch.. i was in a panic the other day.. but they all say they are fine. my family is in Iloilo, where the flash flood was. the only major damage was to my brother's house and his car. it's all underwater.. his wife and son live like near the river that always floods.. (he doesn't listen to me when i told him to move them cuz a flood can happen anytime).. well i didn't wanna say i told you so.. BUT..

yup, my bro's wife is in the philippines.. (he wanted to imitated me blink.gif )

It's good to know that CSC is working on February and March filers. I noticed the processing times for VSC. Just need to hang in there and hope that VSC catches up soon!

lol I might be the only one???

Hi:

I am a May filer also. I don't think a thread has been started for us. Maybe one of us should start one. I mailed my I-130 on 5-15 and received my NOA-1 on 5-22. From what I've been reading it seems that we may have a long wait ahead of us. However, the VSC (that's where I filed) is hopeful that they would have overcome their backlog by the end of the fiscal year (september) and the forsee that things should speed up after that good.gif
thirdsjen
hi all.. according to VJ, my case should be adjucated by September. Hope they are wrong.. i'm shooting for August..

long time no post.. been really busy..

Rajaa, don't worry about all the touches.. that's just going to drive you nuts.. mine hasn't been touched at all, cept for the address change.. but i did that..

spmiller, i added you to our tracker.. and actually, this is the MAY FILER thread, i think.. well, there's a lot of them actually..
just_Jackie
I want to be on a tracker/spreadsheet but I am having trouble with a timeline. The furry Capn Ewok is working on it. Do me a favor, click on my timeline..what does it say?

I haven't had a touch since June 6. But at least we haven't gotten an RFE yet either!

Thirdsjen- I am so sorry to hear about your family, but am happy that they are safe! good.gif

The letter the director of USCIS wrote about processing times said that there were less petitions this year than last and they are expected to have completely close to 250,000 more than they did last year by Sept 30, the end of their fiscal year. I wonder if that means that things will speed up for us just before the Sept 30 date or after. Has anyone had a NOA2 recently from the May filers???

I have just come across something really nice. Someone who filed I-130 in April 2008 (and I-129 too) at CSC had their case adjudicated in the last week of June (I think without an expedite request). I am getting excited now

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=136086
thirdsjen
i would get a little excited.. cept that we are CR-1 filers, and that was a K3.. but really happy for all our K3 filers for April and May! good.gif

Hello Fellow May Filers!
We're one of you guyses as well (that is so not grammatical!). Got our NOA1 on May 8th. I haven't gotten around to figuring out how to post our timeline on my signature yet. Will do.
Now let's cross our fingers and hope for the best eh? star_smile.gif
thirdsjen
hello snorkies! welcome! just go to My Controls and Edit My Signature.. you will be able to post your timeline there too if you want.. or anything else you wanna put there.. smile.gif i put you in our tracker, k?

Jen I really wish I could answer your question but I am in a major limbo phase now. Have lost track of time, dates and events. I do remember coming across one CR-1 from March. Do not remember which country it was from but the service center was california. Just hang in there girl...this patience will pay off afterwards. Going back to limbo mode now.... whistling.gif
Rajaa_Reda
Sorry Thirds_Jen... not lately sad.gif
thirdsjen
Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between October 3, 2008 and October 24, 2008*.

this keeps changing like every week.. getting pushed back further and further.. it was august.. then september.. now it's october. i'm getting really annoyed.. crying.gif

thirdsjen

you know it seems as thougt they're approving K3's at the same time (129f and 130) if it makes you feel better send it in anyway at least it'll force them to pull up your file???

on another note... I just got my passport with my married name on it today!!! I don't know why but it feels "official" now. lol

If you look at the immigration timelines, There are actually quite a few people getting approved who filed February, March and April. Both VSC and CSC. Both CR1 and K3.
