There were no touches on our case or notifications from the web site. But today we received our interview notifications. July 24th.
It will be 1 year and 1 month since they entered the US.
Will we have to go and have the medical exams repeated?

Generally, the medical exam is only good for one year.

I'm not tracking though.... one year and one month since they entered the U.S.? Did they go back? Were they here previously on another visa and then returned home?

They will need to satisfy the requirements of the K-1 to get a K-1 and that includes having a medical check completed within the last 12 months prior to the interview.

No they haven't gone back and returned.
They arrived on a K-1 for her and K-2 for her boys.

I think I am just going to arrange the medical exams again just to be on the safe side and have all the little duckies in a row.

The medical is good for one year and the important date is the date of AOS submission, not the date of the interview. If your medical was less than one year old when your AOS was submitted then you are OK. No need to spend several hundred dollars to do it again.

So it's their AOS interview. OK.

Neonred's right, the submission date is what's important. Since they've been here over a year, they've been to a "regular" doctor (not the civil surgeon) right? Maybe you could take proof of that with you and save the money for the civil surgeon.

Basically, as long as they didn't need anything updated (more shots, etc.) during their medical check for the K-1/2, they shouldn't need anything for the interview.
