hi!we re waiting to get the approval for a k3 visa but a have a big dilemma and i hope that someone can give me an answer;well...how soon can i get my driver license after i arrived in US?i have to wait untill i will change my status or...i don t know!please help me
and also how soon can i registered to college?

A lot of states require that you have a SSN to get a driver's licence. So, you can apply for your SSN two weeks after your arrival in the U.S. (it takes 2 weeks for you to show up in the SAVE system).

I believe you can register for college as soon as you want, but as a "non-resident" you will have to pay very high tuition costs (almost 3 times higher than a resident). So, you may want to wait until you have met the residency requirements and then attend college.

In NC I got my Dl without the SS but they wanted all kinds of other info. such as my tax # and you name it

Ehm, not to spoil the party here but K3's need more than just show up in the SAVE system. They need an EAD to qualify for a SSN. That usually takes quite a bit longer to obtain than 2 weeks.
