Well when i got my EAD ... I was so happy to be able to work...
There s a all new world out when you start working...
I spent 4 months sitting at home...
And was so happy to find a job and meeting new people.
Good luck on the job hunting...

wow..what a nice post... you made me feel better, as I was feeling slightly insecure about getting out in the work world...but you are so right...it will nice to feel independent and get a bit of my own life going..although I will miss having all that time to spend with my hubby..

I know what you mean, giraffemd.... I just started working again last week, only 3 days a week, and I'm feeling a little insecure about learning a new job. I know it will be good for me to get back into "the real world", but I sure wouldn't have minded having the summer off!!!!!!!

Best wishes for a successful job hunt!!!

so glad I am not alone...couldn't wait until I got the EAD and now that it is in my hand it is SCARY to think I have to put myself out there...did everyone else feel this way when they were back in the work force? I worked in the same job in Canada for a million years, so having to get a resume, etc, is intimidating to say the least...maybe others can share how they felt about having to look for work again.
