As per the NVC automated phone system, our case was completed on Friday - May 16, 2008.

Thanks to VisaJourney.com forum members, I was able to use NVC on-line payment system to process our case in about 3 weeks!

congrats fire....did your message change this morning???...and did you get a false RFE???...

The message changed when I checked on Saturday (May 17). Yes I got a false RFE and I immediately spoke with an Operator. The Operate told me that the system was waiting on DS-230.

Congrats Fire!!!! Hope I am next on the list for case complete, was just able to pay the IV Fee Bill on Saturday. Great to hear about everybodies success and fast processing to completion.

thanks for answering...the only reason i asked is because it seems if you get the false RFE your case gets completed right away after NVC finally receive your DS230...i never got the false RFE so i guess no one has reviewed my case and my I-864 was entered on May 2 and My DS230 was entered on the 12 and I still haven't heard anything yet...I'm depressed... ...but congrats to you...

My time line is very close to yours. Could you please tell the following dates? I am trying to get an idea how long mine is going to take:

Date you sent DS-230.
Date they received DS-230.
Date they put DS-230 on system.
