I just recently joined this website, and been reading different stuff in the Forum.. It seems the process of getting a visa in the Philippines is so difficult.. People needs to go to seminars etc..
before going to the US.

I guess I was lucky that I was not in the Philippines when my husband processed my K3-VISA (PETITION FOR ALIEN SPOUSE).

Here in Kuwait, I did not do any seminar, or any whatsoever DELBROS.. The process here seems so different and easy for the Petitioner..
It took the process four months from filing, interview, medicals, and receiving the greencard, ssn.

I am just posting this topic to wish that Philippines processing procedures will change for the better..

Mabuhay.

Same here, 4 months only! Mine was processed in USE-HK and didn't pay any document verification and seminar . The birth certificate or marriage certificate (from NSO) had a bar code below the certificate where they will scan and that will take them to verify my documents are real or fake. After 3 days of the interview in the USE-HK I received my passport with visa on it.

To other pinay/pinoy who are working abroad (out of the Philippines) and planning to process your papers to come here in the US, better process your papers at the USE abroad than USE-Manila.

I guess we were lucky we did not deal from any pain of going to seminar, etc. at all.
