CCA don't give up hope it must be just around the corner if not in the post and on its way to your fiancé. The overlap should kick off soon. They seem to overlap and start one month and finish off the last at the same time.

oh cripes this is the last week of august, if we are gunna have some may approvals kicked of in august it will have to be this week. and i was hoping Vito and I would be one of them. so we could have an nvc number by the time hes here and i can go have my medical.

I'm thinking Vito and i might get it either the end othis week or next week (crossing fingers) and cca this week or next. melannie and john the last half of the first week and second week of sept, same for goksun, geraldyn and ray middle of sept and srvt and jason and sarah the last two weeks of sept. hopefully by the end of sept our little group will all have them.

Vito is hoping to have ours in the next two weeks.

we received our NOA1 on May 22nd and our case has never been touched since then

Dont worry, our file hasnt been touched since May 5th. Some people only get 1 touch antill their approval so you have nothing to worry about!!!

Ive got a feeling this week will be our week too for NOA2!!! I hope so. I have all my friends and family wishing for me as me wishing by myself doesnt seem to work!!! I am gunna be checking this online like a crazy person from here on out antill i get an approval! I will let every1 know ASAP when we do!! I just hope I dont get an RFE coz we only sent in a form each of the biographical data. They might be leniant and not care i hope so. If we do get and RFE its just a tiny set back, and as i said any news is good news and it would mean our file is sat on someones desk!!

I wouldn't worry at all. I never got a touch at all and then my Noa2 came. Have no idea why or even how one can get a Noa2 unless someone touches the thing.

Oh man! Sarah's going to be here this time next week! I'm so nervous! I have so much left to do, and I'm a bit nervous about the PoE...I know everything should go smoothly, but ya know...I'm just a bit jittery! She'll have a statement from work about when she'll return, as well as her itinerary...I'm sure more than likely they won't even hassle her for them, but I'm still a bit nervous!

Argggh no NOA2...im getting really impatient, especially as they STILL havent updated their damn Processing times
2days a bad day for emotions i think

dude its still monday and they are 8 hours behind us, trust me i know, fiance lives in same state as the center, so they haven't even got through their first day of a new week processing. no doubt anyone that gets news today wont till later in evening, and they seem to work later hours over there. so take a deep breath. and let it out and do it again. then eat chocolate or something. as for the prcessing times, do believe this month is not a good month productivity wise for their comp people and i'm just gunna write it off as forgotten. but they are working, the last minute updated approvals last week show that something is happening, you will be fine i'm sure this will be your week.

well you have to look at it too, that based on Igor's List (which is not entirely accurate) they appear to be on a 4 month approval period for most...with that said, I'd say we're right on schedule...so I'd say give another week or two before you start fretting....likely their processing time information is hardly reliable as it only increases by a month...

I'm sure you'll be approved soon...keep focusing on other things - the stuff you'll need for the embassy...wedding plans...house decorating...places you and your SO will be going when you're here...I know it's hard, but some times that distraction helps considerably!

Thanks guys, that actually really helped a lot. I just came back from a job thats getting me nowhere career wise (only doing it to get ££ for usa) and i was just annoyed. Youre so right about them being 8 hrs behind and new wrk day ect... that made me feel a whole lot better. Im just in a mood hehe

Spurs just booked his ticket to come visit in Ohio with his best friend and parents so they can check the place out before he moves here, and I'm already imagining all the things that can go wrong! The priest who will be marrying us said he'd write a letter saying Lindsey is coming now for a meeting to prepare for a wedding that is scheduled for May, so hopefully that and his ties home will get him in with no problems. It's strange--I've never been a "worst case" kind of person, but now I'm just expecting obstacles everywhere!

thats a pretty one and yours is smart. i'd like ours to match in a set somehow, either being the same design or part of a pair. we seem to be drawn to the celtic designs too. its the metal thats stumping us. Vito really want titainium but i'm worried about the not able to resize thing and now i'm unsure if the metals properties are really what we think they are or if we are being mis informed

I don't know too much about metals, but I would suggest you be careful with sizing, esp if you get something that cant be resized. Melannies set has been sized twice now because international sizes dont always correspond

Sarah and I did matching celtic knot rings...they're only sterling silver...but we both like simple things....

I was thinking of getting a nice band something like white gold or something later on.

thats what i'm worrried about. my finger has a tendancy to change sizes a little bug regularly

Sorry to keep jumping into your thread, but! My brother has a titanium ring, and he's lost quite a bit of weight since his wedding. As such, the ring now falls off on a fairly regular basis. His wife found out that there are inserts you can put in to help it fit better (since it can't be resized), however, so that could be an option! I'm sure he'd also like me to note that he loves his titanium ring and would not trade it in for the world.

No body i work with ect gets it, why would they. Ive actually lost my patience now..its gone forever! The anticipation is killing me!! Just talked to andrew and weve agreed that if we havnt heard anything by next friday, andews calling his senetor to see if he can do anything. keeping in mind next monday is Labour day! So nothing will be done sat sun OR monday

that little out burst was due to stupid familly questions and demands when i already told them the answers to, and on top we can to that month or that month and blah blah cant that month and its got to be when schools out, they virtually anihilated all months through till summer holiday which cant happen the visa will expire
and i did give lots of advance notice that i could with out having a date.

as for calling your senitor they may need to wait for you to be behond their official proccessing times to be able to do anything. perhaps first andrew should phone uscis and request information as to your files exact location. apprently polite but firm as in business like is best. you could inform them that you are aware there have been probs with the computer system and people have been approved from your date and after your date and that some have not been informed...... there was advice on here about how to go about it and such

Thats why we finally decided to have 2 weddings, one civil ceremony right away, another for family in Sept 09. Yet Melannies family still pesters with questions she cannot know the answer to. I just dont tell family or friends ANYTHING to discourage questions or discussion.

Yeah we're doing the same thing - civil right away, then a ceremony one in March '10.
