Not sure, but I've seen other threads with people have the same problem. Computers are pretty mysterious to me though, so I've no idea how it would happen

i thought in the other threads they were ment to happen but i never worked out how they managed it, and now i have i'm still clueless

yup it is that time here you are correct. i work in a bar and so i get back and chat with Vito in LA and i dont anna sleep. its one of the hazzards of having a late job, your too wired to get in and go straight to sleep. i'll prob be gone in a few mins but you are right i do stay up quite late.

i thought I was crazy:) I go to bed about 10, get up at 1 am to talk to Melannie, then back to bed at 2, and back up and 4 to start my day. Somedays my minds a bit confused as to what day it is

i really am set to california time, my mum hates it, but its not just talking to vito its what i do for work aswell unless i'm up early for cleaning. normally i get up late morning go do what ever, 6.30pm i'm opening up at work norm get home at midnight chat with Vito and eat something, struggle to fall asleep till around 5 in the morning and then re run except recently i've been doing cleaning at the hotel some mornings so i have to be up and out to clean in the morning and not sleep till late morning.

I spent last fall, during harvest, on a sick version of Australia time. Oh, the tribulations of maintaining international relations!

well appart from the are they really? issue, i think think those that would really be affected would be from russia as oposed to yourself (being British) although the security checked would proberbly increase if that was at all possible after recent years. but thats if it would happen? I'm not going to be worrying just yet.

to be honest though i would expect fallings out on a regular basis with most counties, but i think it would have to get really bad to have a repeat of history, it would be last resort for both as it would benifit neither, in todays economic climate. in my opion, I'm no expert of course.

I highly, highly doubt any such turn of events. Most Americans know little and care less about the current situation in Russia-Georgia. Its going to take a lot more than that to turn Americans back to Cold War thinking. And the U.S is in no financial shape to take any such course anyhow. I suspect the article you saw was the type of nonsense, sensationalist dribble, that has so many people abandoning newspapers as any source of accurate information. Just my thoughts anyway...

Well, the Russia-Georgia conflict is all rhetoric from all three sides (Georgia, U.S., Russia), while the real trouble lies within the missile defense program and how Russia responds to that with more countries (European and Asian alike) joining the U.S. side.

Anyways, the last few weeks have been quite slow and the timelines are being pushed back further, almost to what it was back in June'ish.

it would help if everyone was on top of their timelines , i went through igors about as far as my self and there is a duplicate feb filer who not only dulpicated their timeline (think its both partners set up their own) but they got their noa2 long ago. then after that there is a recent march approval still not updated and two, further duplicates, who very well may have been approved, not possible to tell as they are not members of the forum. their could be more but, i got bored looking, plus there are some that have not return to the forum for a couple of months so there are no post to go by. but thats at least five further than we think we are.

i'm still advocating the naughty list and this guy should be gotten out a bit more

Betty is far more calm than me. Mostly because of this process, needing to move closer to my job, then my job moving to socal (I hate socal, prefer norcal) and trying to convince them to make my job remote/work-at-home which many tech companies are doing for marketing jobs like mine. Then again, she's also used to chaos, given all of the crazy strikes (transportation, garbage, power, internet, education, and much more) Greece has had it in recent months, bad service (ISP workers, from government-run provider, giving out her internet account information for others to use so she pays for internet she can hardly ever use), highly corrupt police officers, etc (this all being documented in the news). It's no wonder she wants out of there, but the chaos going on over there adds to it for me. She's used to it, so no big deal. I swear her getting here is going to relieve me of 99% of my stress.

Funny cause I'm eating ice cream right now, and Melannie's been talking non stop about chocolate the last few days. Ironic!

And no, pretty sure i'm not hormonal or emotional like that just have really been down lately. Its hard to do things you think are fun that you soooo badly want to share with a particular someone whose company you are denied

Yeah, I mostly dislike Socal for the even hotter weather they get there, and of course political reasons.

Since my job is moving to Socal, if I can't find another (or if they don't let me work from home) I will temporarily end up around Irvine for a few months, until Betty gets here, then scoot back up north. Chances are very small, as it's my last resort.

Igors list is the statistics which help determine who is waiting at which step in the process, primarily for NOA2's. Once you have created a timeline you appear on the list. I like to Ctrl F and then search for us under our names.

Apparently once you get under 100 the list flies. I think it actually is partly psychological, but also b/c people probably wpn't be adding themselves to the list ahead of you.

another note is it was made by another vj memeber on another site and basicaly it just loads up every timeline on vj within curent waiting times and just approved and orders them by date and service center. the 100 thing is me cos people have said on here before than those around the number one hundred start getting their approvals,most proberbly because a) those ahead at 1,2,3 ect are proberbly either waiting longer for a particular reason (security check or something or have forgotten to update, csc doesnt strictly approve everyone in date order, so its always working out that the latest month to be approved is at 100 and either side, not at 1.

and as for peaches geldof, we're assuming that she wont get bored before its time to aply and that her "hubby" survives when her dad gets hold of him wouldn't you like to b a fly on the wall for that meeting
