Im not gunna go OCD on evidence of relationship. Every review that ive read says that the uk consulate never asked them for it. Dont get me wrong, im still taking evidence, but im just not gunna stress myself out even more and go overboard with it al. My 1st binder (and most important binder) contains passport, passport pics, birth certificate and copies...basiclly everything theyve asked for. That way when they ask for it i can just delve into that folder and retrieve it without any hassle.
My second binder will contain eveythin else if need be, but im keeping it seperate from all the other documents. Im using it as just a backup!

Have you registered on the USCIS website? You need the WAC number from your NOA1. You go to uscis.gov and click on "case status online" and create a username and enter that number from your NOA1. Then make sure you sign up for email notifications

How do you know that your noa2 has been approved before you receive your noa2 hardcopy? Thanks!

It IS a lot of work. That's what I did to keep myself busy when I was waiting for the NOA2 so it was all ready when we got it. I've already shipped it off and he has it now. Now I just will send him some updates to add to it but at least the majority is done....

I just sent what pics I wanted to Walgreens.com and then went the next day to pick them up and sent them to Trang. Even sent some of the engagement party.

I did this in about August maybe, and all they did was check on the case...They gave me the same answer with the same timelines on the USCIS. And then I got all excited because my case was touched, but then I figured out it was only touched because of my congressman's inquiry....

But you should still do it. Then at least you've touched base with your Senator regarding your case, in case you need their help later on......

you would think that they could at least be a bit more translucrent on your case as to whats taking longer? otherwise whats the point of a ruddy helpline. if tey cant help you. or at least give you information?

Yeah, I feel a little better that I have someone to look at it at least, considering we're about 2 weeks shy of our 6 month mark since recieving our NOA-1. When I spoke with the case worker she said that considering they've started June that it's definitely something to look at, which makes me hopeful. And considering they haven't even touched us since Sept 5th, it'd be good to know we're not lost in a garbage can somewhere. Sigh.

We called andrews congressman and sent the form off to give permission to access our case. I dont know if it did anything but it gave me the security of knowing that i had done everything i possibly could to get our case approved and that in itself made me feel better I feel really sorry for you but try to hold in there.



Hannah and vito, Im not taking too many pics. id say about 10 in total if that. They have more with the i129F package and from what i understand is that they dont ask to see further relationship evidence from uk as uk is not classed as a high visa fraud country. I am taking a 2nd folder with flight stuff, boarding passes, facbook msg, emails ect but im not going overboard and maing myslef more stressed at something they probs wont ask to see.

just thought a couple or three images from each meeting we have had together would be wise just to prove we met when we say. along with boarding passes and receipts

Yea thats a good idea! Annoying cuz i got a new camera at xmas and didnt set the date and time right (arggghh) so lots f pics say it as taken at a time when they actually werent dammit haha ah well

So can anyone tell me what administrative processing means with the NVC?

Our case has been in that status since it arrived on 10/3/08, and there's been no update...I know they say 2-4 weeks, but with so many people who have flew through the NVC, I am a bit concerned...I already have an NVC case number so what could possibly be the delay????

How do you know it's in AP? Did someone actually tell you that?

Yeah, I call them, and they keep telling me it's in Administrative Processing and there is no time frame for it and to keep checking back...I've been calling every day just to make sure to see if it updates...

Weird. Maybe they're just backlogged. The only AP I know of is after the interview before they issue the visa.

Oh we have everything ready. I downloaded the forms and we filled em out. I sent him Affadavit of support too even though they dont require it for this consulate. Packet 3 has the interview date. Casablanca doesn't do a Packet 4. Just needs the date so he can make his doc appointment. So this is it!

That's assuming people know what they're doing and know what to get done...lol. I've heard of people there getting their packet 3 and only having a couple of weeks to get it all done! thank god for VJ

oh i wish i was more organised with the dates on my pics. i got one i want to use and i know i preseeds the others on my first trip but cant remember the exact date it happened.

Were they taken on a digital camera? If you have them on your computer, usually if you look at the properties, it will tell you when it was taken (mine even tells me what camera was used! ). Come to think of it, when I've uploaded stuff to photobucket, it tells me the photo properties too. That has helped me determine when pics were taken.

they were but i loaded them from a disk they were burned from. Vito sent it to me after he took them of his camera. so it just has the nurned date. maybe it doesnt matter the exact date? i know it was beteen the 21st oct 2007 when i flew in and halloween. infact it was also before or on same day as october fest

I can't imagine the exact date would really matter; you could just put "October 2007" or something like that...

Even if they're burned on a cd or disk the properties go with it.

But like villaspurs said, it probably doesnt' matter
