The only way to track ur case all the way thru is by using DOS. They told me when the embassy had sent out package 3, when they had recieved it and then told me when my interview was even before i had recieved package 4 so its pretty good way of keeping up to date!!

DOS knew your interview date?? Are they the ones that schedule it? I have a feeling it's different for Morocco though...now I'm wondering
Hey Claire, what did you get for your vaccinations records? Sarah went to the Dr's today, and they gave her a paper, but it doesn't really prove anything...was there a specific type you got?

yep thats right, the embassy schedule it but DOS then have it on their database
And jasonsarah, I had a booklet of my vaccinations that ive update throughout the years but i also got thenurse to print off a record of all vaccination and records and sign it

Hey Everyone.... I'm so excited for all of you and your approvals and fingers crossed that your cases get where they need to go soon. Just think, in a couple of months, you can be with your loved ones!
I think I'm the only one left who hasn't heard a thing, so I feel sooo out of the loop with all of this stuff!! Ahhh!! I've started another thread to see who (if anyone) is still waiting. I hope I have good news to give you guys soon, but still not holding my breath. Ahh!

well we have been told we have to wait another two weeks to see if the noa2 turns up, if not call again. and its just proved something, if they forget to update you case online, then phoning the helpline will tell you jack whatsit, because we just had to convice the girl we had been approved. she believed us but told us it could very well have been but it was still showing pending and how did we find out. Vito phoned on the 25th and was told we had a wait of 3 more months before wecould expect something it was approved two days before had and themfives days after the call it left the nvc for the embassy. i'm starting to think i should find my packet 3 myself and not expect corespondence from these people.
perhaps this give those who are waitng still some hope though prob a bit more frustraition.

How sad is it going to be when I'm Maid of Honor in a fabulous wedding on NYE, at midnight, standing all alone, all done up, watching everyone else kiss their loved ones.... I'm gonna cry just thinking about it. Why is this happening to us???

no need to be sorry, i was right there with you last week, infact we were already sent to the embassy then but had no clue we had even been approved. as you can see from my recent posts. and you were touched in september too.i wonder if randomly calling nvc and running your wac number would raise anything. but then if they had it would they not have sent a letter?
i gradually am loosing trust in these systems set up to inform us.
It has been a real experience for me too. What little tiny bit of faith I had in the gov is completley wiped away by this process.
I've always thought lawyers were scum, and my dealings with the one we hired makes me think I had judged them too generously. They are no where close to scum, more like an insignificant bacteria or something. There may be decent ones out there, but my first personal dealings with one wouldnt lead anybody to that conclusion.
All in all this process has been really something, and I've not a bit of good to say about it. It is just a huge hassle and expense to those of us who are legitimate, and a failure to do anything else.

For us, the NVC was screwy, one day they didnt have our case on file, and the next we were approved and sent on.

its just occured to me that i could have acctualy done my medical when Vito was here and i went to get him in london, had they actually kept us informed. rats,

Andrew called DOS and they said that it may have been lost and that we would have to wait 30 days before asking the embassy to send it out again
Id been waiting for too long so i somehow (by some miracle) managed to put together the checklist and the forms myself and send it. Good job i did cuz we'd be waiting around for it still (the original never showed up)
I think we must have been a one in a million case for this to happen but it just shos that this visa journey isnt a visa journey if something doesnt go wrong! a smooth process would just be unthinkable

Hannah, thats a bit of a confusing thing for you but at least its moving!!! I had a hitch with my package 3. DOS said they sent it out and i waited and nothing! Andrew called DOS and they said that it may have been lost and that we would have to wait 30 days before asking the embassy to send it out again
Id been waiting for too long so i somehow (by some miracle) managed to put together the checklist and the forms myself and send it. I've got package 3 now. What a let down. I was message you on face book Hannah not sure if I did it right. Depending when you go I might be able to swing being your moral support if you like.

Hey Guys.... I just enlisted some Congressional help. We HAVE to find out before Adriano leaves Brazil on Thursday or he'll have to stay on his ship for at least a month before he goes home. And from what we've heard Rio just sends you the interview date, which won't leave us much time to get things done. Please, please say extra special prayers and cross your fingers (and toes) that either our lawyer or Senator can find out why we STILL haven't heard a thing or been touched for over a month. I can't wait until I get to moan about the NVC and Packet 3 with you guys! I swear I'm the ONLY one left without an RFE or NOA-2. Please please please please let one of these guys get us some answers!!!!!!
