We're still waiting too, sigh... Although we filed at the end of May. It's such an emotional process to log onto the USCIS website several times a day and feel so anxious and excited as the page is loading and then see that same date of the last touch four months ago... Especially when every day there are new approvals on Igor's. Anyway... Can't be too far now, it's our time, more May approvals every day!!!!

Here's hoping! I have my attorney "sending an inquiry." Do you think they'll tell him anything other than what they've told me- which is basically what I can read on the USCIS website? It just makes no sense to me! We don't really have a difficult case, we basically lived together for 3 months, and I've been there twice, he's never been here illegally, WTF could be taking so long!!!! AHHHHHHHH! Oh well, if we don't get it before, I'll see my noivo a week from Friday in NYC! Rather know when he's coming forEVER. Okay, enough complaining, off to preschool mania! Have a good day everyone!!!!! Trust me, after my noivo and my parents, you will all be the first to know when we hear anything (whenever that may be!)

when they said that within the week they will forward it to the appropriate embassy, is that the line they use on everyone or do they really intend to send it on in that time?

I'm guessing that because we already have the LDN NUMBER they have finished their processing?

I'm wondering if we have to request a new noa2 copy as i'm not sure if ours is lost, will have to see when Vito gets home in the early hours, friday morning. and i'm trying to work out how much time we have to start getting things done?

hi guys, congrats to the recent approvals, sorry we havent been on here much but we have been busy, just came back from a night in the the new forest awesome!! and we have ordered our wedding rings and they should arrive on tuesday. they are welsh gold gold cos my fasmily heritage is welsh.

Not so good... still NOTHING, not even a touch. They have my parent's address as my permanent address so my mom's checking every day (and has been for a month) and still not a thing. Our lawyer is looking into it, and if he can't get any info, we'll have my State Senator (luckily also a good friend of my parents ) get on it. I just don't understand the delay could possibly be.

Oh, Hannah...I know how you feel. Saying goodbye is the worse. I can't even think about the last time I had to say goodbye because I just end up in tears

Last time I visited Morocco, it ended badly. The day before I left, my fiance had an emergency tooth pulled and he was miserable and also his boss decided his vacation time was over, 2 days earlier than she told him he could have off or threatened to fire him, so I was alone most of the time my last 2 days and he felt like the lousiest person on earth, even though I know it wasn't his fault. Not a fun circumstance to leave under. We both just felt downright rotten....


It may well be your packet...because when I received my letter saying that the file was leaving for the consulate "within a week", the week before when I called the NVC they told me the case had already left. I really think these letters (NOA2, NVC) are generated after the fact.

I know how it feels hannah. Long story but when andrewcame in august I had to find a new place to live the second to last day before he left! we were gunna go to london and have a look around with his parents that were also over but didnt have much time to fit it in as we were busy moving. And i was only moving becuase the person i rented from was away and his mother in law (who doesnt even live in the area nd has nothing to do with the house) came over and suddenly took over the whole house and was bein so so nasty!! Was a complete stress and she ruined the end of a great holiday

I dont think you will have long to wait at all. if u look at my timeline you will see how quick its travelled through since arriving in the UK!! Its crazy. AND i received package 4 today Didnt think id get it as i never recieved package 3 and had to put one together myslef. Boy am i glad i did that otherwise we'd still be waiting for package 3. My guess is it got lost......

is there a way online i can check if the embassy has our packet yet? because i dont want Vito to do do too much till hes finished being rested after what he wnet through before his 10 hour flight, yesterday and i dont fancy racking up a phone bill, to the states to phone the nvc, to see if they have sent it on yet? can i just put my ldn number in somewhere and see if it registers?

Finally got our packet 3. It went to an address which Melannie moved out of 5 months ago. #^%$#$^%$ lawyers! Word of advice, NEVER hire one. When we are free from them, I'll certainly be posting a review of them here. The ones we hired are ineffectual, lazy, ignorant. I know we understand this process much better than our case officer, and she supposedly does K1's for a living.

Thankfully though, there is a good friend living in the old flat, so she called right away so we could get our packet, knowing how important it is. Without friends, Melannie and I would never have gotten anywhere. Thank God for good friends.
And hooray for packet 3!!!
