Hi everyone,

When I paid my AOS fee online, the IV status was "Not Invoiced". So today being bored and all I logged in to the NVC Online and I noticed that the status changed to "Not Paid" so I went ahead and paid it online and now the status shows as "In Process".

I have no clue whether the IV bill was generated or not (IVR still says NVC has received you DS3032, wait a few weeks for instructions) but I guess the status change online must mean something... Oh well :-) I'll let everyone knows in a couple of days if I'm out the $400

ya im in the same boat at u,... i think min ewas generated early too but oh well thats good. i jus paid my iv bill and waitin to print cover sheet to send ds 230..

you have to put a case number on the top right hand corner of every document you submit...i-864, pay stubs, tax transcripts, etc.....

yup even mine was showing as paid as of today morning.. and i am able to print the cover sheet online.. i am puting together my husbands ds230 now and wil be mailing it tom inshallah may 21...

We find it is OK to print DS-230 barcode, and already send the package today.

Did you hear any auto message says your I-864 was accepted? I have not heard anything after we send.

My Status went to paid this morning and I called to make sure it was ok to send DS-230. Go the thumbs up by a live operator and off to the post office I went. Sent the DS-230, Express Mail, and the USPS says it will deliver next day by noon.

Looks like we are all on a close path through the NVC. Let's stay in touch with any isues (praying there are none, for any of us), and updated timelines.

I am hoping we can finish NVC by the end of May and get a June Interview date. My wife told me she is soooooooooooooo ready to get our life started together.

I'm not sure if there is a AVR message for accepting the I-864 but it should say something like
"The NVC has received your financial evidence -and found information missing or incomplete-" but from the posts it looks like they would be just waiting for the DS-230 to be processed.

I still have not gotten that one on the AVR yet... (I was lazy and sent everything in regular mail :-)) but I'm hoping by next AVR update we should hear something good (Tuesday usually)

Also, someone was saying that if you get the above AVR message, then your case is likely to be completed -faster- as soon as they get the DS-230.

My guess is that my case won't be completed in may but maybe in early June... I'm cool either way because after all the headaches with I-130 I feel like I'm way ahead. Go NVC :-)

AVR Update: "The NVC is awaiting the return of the biograhic froms from the petitioner". I guess this means that they accepted the I-864 and waiting for the DS-230. Now I'm hoping for completion in May again

Hi All!!!!! I am getting the same AVR message ("...waiting on the biographics..."), and the DS-230, is delivering today. I hope we can all get "Case Completed" very very very soon. It has been a long time...I will keep praying for all of us.

Even i havn't heared anything yet, i dont think they give any specific message for I-864

i got the same mesage this morning! they are waiting on my biographic page.. soo i sent off the ds 230 for my husband today!!!!!! im so excited i hope im done with everything.. with the holiday on monday


we prob wont get processing done til next week on our stuff.. oh well im still thankful it went so fast within a month of case number assigned i sent off everything!!! God is greaT!!

Hyd, I didn't hear anything either but I took that as a good sign I guess... Let us know if you speak to them what this all means... I was hopping that they got it and are satisfied with it so they asked for the biographic docs...

We'll all finish within days of each other inshaallah :-) (me being last cuz I'm lazy and always use regular mail)

i just called NVC and spoke to an operator... she looked up my case and said that the aos i864 is still under review and check back next tuesday (monday is memorial day) so i gues well find out next week if our aos went thru.. she said they r takin about 2 weeks to review them so next week would be the right time to check on it.. inshallah i hope it goes thru without rfe.. i sent out the ds230 today visa priority mail ( did not expedite it since halfd the week is over already) so i think it should get there friday and i gues ds230 will be reviewed by them next week as well...

So I woke up early and of course like and addiction now, I called the NVC and the AVR and there was an un-inviting message:
"The NVC has reviewed your packets and forms and found information missing of incorrect" What???


I"m hoping this is what people are calling the fake RFE, cuz I'm pretty sure my I-864 was more than OK!!!

Anyone one else wih updates?

I hope you are right but be prepare for anything, you already heared the maessage saying "nvc waiting for return of biographic form"which means RFE is not related demand of DS-230.
and as per hyd617 confirmed that they process I-864 in 2 weeks( may be some inaccuracy on their part) it can be a RFE, Sorry to say but it can be.
In my case i sent them I-864EZ with tax transcripts, employer letter and pay stubs of three months but as per written on page no 7 of I-864EZ they need tax return with W2, RFE can come to me as well.

I really hope it is the fake RFE, my DS-230 was signed for this morning, and the AVR has not changed from..."waiting on biographics..." If it changes tomorrow to the dreaded, "...missing documents or imcomplete..." my guess would be that it is a bogus RFE. I will keep everyone in the loop on our case.

Hi guys... Just to update everyone, I did call them up and the lady said that everything is fine with the I-864 and that they were referring to the DS-230...

From my experience with my mom's VISA before, the RFE for the AOS would result in a message that specifically says ".... Found documents missing or incomplete on your financial evidence" (That was a real RFE....TWICE ) but now I'm hoping that the lady was competent and she was reading off the right info... She say's once we get you DS-230, you should be all set

iyad congrats on ur AOS going thru... see i told u it was a fake rfe!yay now u can relax.. i just called them my time 11 pm and i spoke to the operator and he said mine is still under review.. i gues they havent finished going thru mine yet haha...

so i gues i wil find out next week...

Whew!!!! It is a great relief to hear that the issue was settled. Congrats!!! Progress for one of us, is progress for all of us. Now for the loooooong 3 day weekend!!!

Just got an updated AVR on our case.

"The NVC has received the checklist letter on May23rd, 2008. Please allow 6-8 weeks for review, then you will be notified."

I think this is becasue they have actually entered our DS-230 into the system. So I am hoping that the "false RFE" we have been talking about ia an intermediate message.

Just letting everyone know that my case went "COMPLETE" this morning. AVR hasn't changed, but live operator verified for me. Everyone else should be completing soon too. All my timelines and signatures are updated, so this is the last post for me on this news
