Roselinda
Hi.

Sorry to be a pest but I now have my interview date scheduled for June 10th.

The thing is that although we placed my daughter on our initial application as it stated to name all children under 21 years of age, she will not, all things going well of course, be going over with me and my son.

On the packet 3 forms, I put her name on them but also stated in whichever question it was, that she would not be following at a later date.

She's almost 18 and has decided to just come over and visit on the VWP whenever she can, due to work and college committments.

My problem now is that her name is still on my Packet 4 document.

She did not have a medical with us, so my question is, do I merely just not bring her with me to the interview and inform them that she will not be joining us, or should I contact the Embassy prior and inform them?

Any help as always appreciated.

thanks!

I had a similar situation for my son, age 19 at the time. Although it was never his or my intention that he would join me in the US at the time of my visa interview, he was always included on my packages and correspondence, I presume because he was listed as a child under the age of 21 on my petitions. He never attended the interview with me, and when I went for my interview, they asked me if my son would be accompanying me now, or later, to which I replied no. I signed or initialed the form (not a seperate one, but one which had both our names on it...maybe the interview letter?) indicating he was not joining me. No problem, the interview proceeded without any further mention.

Hope this helps.
