we filed in feb with the i-130 then in march we filed the 129f
this is all for a k-3 visa...both approved the same day on may 5 08
nvc is holding i130 for more processing..i-129f has been sent to
manila. on may 12 08..this went faster then we thought.
we did this all with no attorney. i have gotten all docs and supporting
evidence ready to send to my wife in the philippines.
just waiting to see what embassy wants before i send.
hope this helps...

Hi,

That's so plain fast. Congratulations.

Then now you or your wife can then now call the USEM-Manila for you to get an interview schedule. Or if they didn't receive it this week, for sure next week you can call again them for you to have interview appointment already.
And your wife also can then pay the document verification at Metrobank, visa application fee at BPI, and start gathering documents she will be needed during her interview soon.

Good luck.

Awesome. Congrats to you - that's unbelievable.

Really - if you do the forms yourself, take some time on them, prepare your work carefully - there's absolutely NO reason why your forms should have any problems.

The CIS & NVC forms aren't all that hard to fill out. Very simple stuff.

No need to wait for the packet that the embassy will send to your wife. (I didn't receive anything from USEM though, i'm done with interview but didn't receive any packet from embassy.)

What basically she (your wife) will be needing from you is your copies of
*2005,2006,2007 tax transcripts,
*copies 2005,2006,2007 W2's,
*signed and notarized I-134,
*at least 3 recent pay stubs,
*petitioner's employment letter-stating your annual salary, your job title, indicate if full time or part time, company letterhead
-but in our case , the pre-screener returned my husband's employment letters i gave them, i'm on k3 also.
